I did a few mile float! My cousin and I had a great time. We caught about 5 smallmouth bass. I would like to do it again next summer. I feel like I can catch more fish by using a multitude of tactics. I only use crankbaits. Everyone who worked at Kittatinny was friendly and helped us out. On a summer day I would recommend getting there early maybe 45 mins before scheduled opening time. They will help you drive your car to the end of the float so that when you are done you can park the canoe and drive off!

It was our first time and the young staff were so friendly, professional and informational. Well trained. Water is nice and clear and calm. Everyone did well except my canoe, lol. We are inexperienced but had a wonderful time there. Highly recommend.

My family of newbies chose the very calm "Milford to Dingmans Ferry" trip. 8 long miles but we made it! We were the only folks out on the river so it was such a serene, peaceful experience. Lots of dead fish on the river were pretty gross though, not sure whats up with that...

I had an overnight stay at the Lambertville Inn before a smaller business meeting for about 30 people. The overnight accommodations were fantastic! My room was large, included a fireplace and a sitting area, with a large bathroom and lovely fireplace. A complimentary continental breakfast was served to my room with my newspaper of choice. Our meeting was held in the ballroom, which has a really nice view overlooking the river. The food was above average and I really enjoyed it. After our meeting, we walked across the bridge for dinner at The Landing, but there are many choices in New Hope and Lambertville alike. I would choose the venue again in a heart beat.

We were a group of 4 each choosing a kayak for fishing. The check in was quick and easy. One of the foot pegs was missing but we called and they returned to fix the problem. It was a great day, fishing... beautiful views, wildlife to include deer, Eagles and a family of otters.
