Had a quick stop over in the deleware water gap and found this organization through a trip advisor forum thread. We were able to sign up for a free kayak/canoe opportunity as well as get some suggestions/recommendations for other hikes within the park.

a nice place to get some exercise, nice set of trails available, starting from or near the Main Building and parking lot. No charge to hike the trails. You can buy water, Gatorade, etc in the Main Building. Plenty of nature programs offered at the Center. Recommend the Tumbling Waters Trail, plan about 2 hours, moderate hiking, some ups and... We wanted to get some hiking in while visiting the Poconos and this fit the bill. We did the hike around the Two Ponds while our daughter and her husband extended their hike to include the falls. This is beautiful country. You are warned to use insect repellent for ticks. The paths are well-worn so we didn't experience any ticks... More

My girlfriend and I took our dog here and we all had a great time. There are five different trails and while some intersect and each have a different message: lakes, fossils, waterfalls, scenery etc. I would always recommend this place to friends, especially if they have a pet since Childs Park and Dingmans Falls don't allow pets. It's a... More

Very interesting g place. Numerous hiking trails thru beautiful mountain sides...did lots of hike. Info on the alien insects that are threatening our woods is terrifying...hope they get the situation under control before we lose 2 much of our natural beauty.

Came across the PEEC while searching for places to hike in the Pocono area. It really is a hidden gem and not nearly as crowded as some of the other bigger places in the area (Delaware Water Gap, etc..). The staff at the center were great and answered questions and they have quite an educational component for children, nice camping... More

We had a wonderful time at PEEC with the Girl Scouts last weekend. The lodges were lovely, clean, and warm. The staff was very knowledgable and led informative programming for the scouts. The Ecozone is not to me missed!! Loved by all!

We have gone here in previous years and they improve each year. The trails are moderate to hard. The information center was enjoyed by the family and has a kids touch table.....not fancy. But while open a member of the staff will give you all the help you need and answer all your questions.

Wonderful 3-mile hike to the waterfalls. Moderate level with some climbs. Our dog Buster enjoyed this hike too!
