We stumbled upon Clover Hill on our way into town (staying at Glasbern Inn) and were blown away by the place! We had a tasting to start, which involved 4 pours (2 oz each) to be enjoyed at one of the indoor tables. My husband and I loved each wine that we tasted and had a hard time deciding which to select when ordering a glass!

We enjoyed our experience so much that we came back on our way out of town two days later! We bought several bottles to take home with us.

Everyone was so friendly and we had a lovely time. I would highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area. We will surely be back!

Whenever passing through the area we invariably stop at Clover Hill. The offer quality wines from dry to sweet as well as some sparkling ones. The menu had not changed much over the years and we know we will not waste our time. We were disappointed that they no longer have traditional flight tastings. We did each have a glass of wine on the patio. We purchased Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Chambourcin and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are reasonably priced. Oh boy, you keep the glasses. I need another glass like a hole in the head. Yes, it’s likely that we return.

Decided to make a side trip here for some wine. Thought I was going for some Catawab wine, but after trying it again after years of not having it, I didn't like it at all. Unfortunately to me it smelled like a hospital room, not sure if my taste buds were just off, but I couldn't even finish the tasting of this wine. Though I did like the Cayuga White and bought a couple of bottles. I guess there is a wine for everybody.

They offer 5 tastings for free, and have a decent selection of wine, and have them nicely categorized from dry to sweet and everything in between. Please note that their specialty wines do have a charge to taste. They also have a nice selection of wine paraphernalia.

They have a great outside seating area, however I didn't partake in sitting out there as I was on a schedule, maybe next time.

It is worth a stop for some tasting, and a good relaxing spot on the countryside.

Let me start out by saying I bought many cases of their wine, personalized bottles in 1998 for my wedding favors. At that time it was wonderful wine or I would not have purchased it. Fast forward to this weekend at the Allentown fair. I brought my 23 daughter with me and thought she would like to taste the wine from mine and her now deceased father's wedding. Ok, so I explain this to one of the women behind the counter. She says oh no sorry we are unfortunately not doing any tastings, but you can purchase a glass of wine. As she is telling us this we can clearly see the other woman giving tastings to a couple holding their infant child further down the counter. I was going to purchase a few bottles if my daughter liked it, but then we saw this! We just started to walk away because we were both were a bit upset being treated like fools. We clearly saw the older woman look at the woman giving the tastings and she said yeah I know, I know. And they both kept looking up at us as we walked away trying to see if we really understood. This left me and my daughter with such a bad feeling. I honestly would never purchase from them. Obviously we didn't look good enough for them to help. Their loss. I can afford much better wine then they can offer, but they did ruin the precious nostalgia of the moment for us.

First the good- the Robesonia location is beautiful with country views and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is great, very friendly and helpful. The bad- the wine. It's just not very good. Reading other reviews, it appears my wife and I are in the minority, but they are so many other wineries in the area with much better wine. I'd recommend Galen Glen, Manatawny, and Tolino. They also don't sell by the bottle so you're over paying for the wine.

We stop here frequently to stock up on our favorites. Friendly service treating lovers of dry and sweet wines equally. Nice variety and good prices. Lovely building with a shaded patio to enjoy a glass, large parking lot, spacious bar and convenient clean restrooms.

This winery has beautiful grounds and areas to sit outside. The tasting room is quite large and can accommodate groups. The staff is very friendly and informative about the wines. It is worth a stop if you're in the area.

First wine served was not pleasant. Was a stop on a bus trip with several teenagers and the tasting left them out. They did not offer any thing nonalcoholic for the kids but said they could buy some in their shop. If you have anyone under 21 don't waste your time stopping. For those old enough to taste, also wasn't worth the time to stop. Employees were not very friendly.

We were warmly greeted when we arrived. Our host took us through the wine list and asked us our preferences before recommending some wines to taste. We were allowed 5 free tastings, and our host provided descriptions of what to look for in taste and smell. We enjoyed all of the wines we tasted and bought 2 bottles of our favorites. It was a very relaxed and pleasant experience.

We organized a wine tour of Berks county and since we live in Lehigh county we figured we would start and end at Clover Hill. We rented a limo so that we could taste and not worry about it. We met at Clover Hill, tasted there and jumped into the limo and had a great day at 4 Berks County Wineries. When we arrived back Clover Hill we were met by a very rude individual that told us that we were taking up 4 spots in his parking lot. He further explained that he was the owner of the winery. He did not care that we had just spent money touring some of the other wineries in the area, spending money and buying wine at these locations, nor did he care we bought wine at his establishment. All he wanted to tell us was that we were not welcome to leave our four cars in his parking lot. His attitude may be the reason why all his retail stores for his winery are no longer open and in any malls. I could understand this coming from Robert Mondavi or another huge winery that sells all around the world, not someone who relies on local people to sell his wine. Lets be real, the wines of the Lehigh and Berks Counties are not the best wines. We just enjoy the atmosphere and friends while visiting these places. I will continue to spend money in our locally wineries, just not Clover Hill!!
