This is an easy place to enjoy skiing. Not at all demanding - better for beginners or mid-level skiers who don't want the huge crowds. The mountain lodge does not offer anything remotely like luxury - very basic food and sitting area with an upstairs...More

A friend took me there to ski and my first question was, "Where is the mountain?" He told me were at the top of the mountain and that we would ski down to the valley below. Well, that's a little different, but it worked out...More

We had a fantastic day skiing over President's Day weekend at Jack Frost resort. Our son (age 13) was nervous about it and we signed him and his cousin up for a lesson, and their instructor "Cookieman" was AMAZING. He gave them the confidence to...More

I enjoy skiing at Jack Frost. It is a little weird with the lodge at the top of the hill. I always think I need to go down the hill just one more time. Great snow grooming and the lift guys are very nice and...More

Nice small mountain to go and ski at. I was there for a Race but that doesn't make any difference. The Moutain is small 600' vertical with 2000' summit elevation. There are several trails mostly Intermediate and Difficult trails as well as multiple terrain parks...More

We are in Lake Harmony from Wednesday to Saturday of Christmas week. The family has been bouncing back and forth between Jack Frost during the day and Big Boulder for night skiing each day. Jack Frost is bigger and definitely the favorite; they particularly like...More

Nice place to cruise ski, not too hard but nice, we went on Sunday and had about 60% capacity and was just a nice place and not very expensive, I would recommend

Excellent grooming and un-crowded mid-week. The lifts are painfully slow. Come on J.F. its time to upgrade to faster lifts.

So while this winter had its ups and downs, on the downs me and the friends looked to travel north for better conditions, so Jack Frost never disappoints in that way, we mainly skied blues all day, lift tickets were reasonable, and the terrain remains...More

Yes, there is snow tubing, but not during the midweek. There is tubing nightly at Big Boulder.
