I came across this years ago traveling the back roads. If it is open when you are there be sure to stop in. They have a nice variety of soaps, lotions, salves, and ointments. I am not sure if it is Amish owned, but usually when I am there it is Amish women working in there.

This store is a delight! You can do all of your Christmas shopping here, and fill your stocking too! There are so many wonderful scents for soaps and matching lotions. Be sure to check out therapeutic salves and natural bug spray. The poison ivy salve works good. Garden Path does a great job of using plants and natural ingredients to make effective products. The owner is a delightful Amish woman who started the business in her home kitchen. I’ve been buying her products from the beginning, and have never been disappointed.

Not sure if this is Amish owned, but the women working there were Amish. This shop sells all natural soaps which are handmade there in small batches. They also have homemade herbal salves, hand and body lotions, herbal jellies, flavored lip balms and palm wax candles.
The day I went I could see a few Amish women were working on a batch of candles. You can see right into the room where they make things as you walk in. Off to the side was the room I went to and found some soaps. They were averaged price for the size and the fact they are handmade. I try to use all natural soaps as much as possible so I was happy to find this place while out there for vacation. They have a nice variety, the only reason I could not give this 5 stars is the fact all the soaps they sell contain stearic acid which is not all natural and usually only used when using cheaper ingredients including cheaper oils. Just wish they would get rid of that and I would probably buy a good supply every time I was in the area.

I have been stopping here for years and absolutely love the products! As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by the smell of the soaps and candles and can see Amish workers making the products in the work area off of the main shop. While the store is small, there is a great variety/scents of products to choose from. All of the soaps, lotions, candles etc. are Amish made and affordable. The owner of the shop is very friendly and kind and is willing to help out in any way she can to make your shopping experience the best it can be.
The only word of advise is that it can get very warm here in the summer, so plan your visit for early in the morning or on a cooler day.

We stop here every couple of months for our soap fix! I make sure to buy enough till our next visit. The soaps are fantastic. They are creamy and rich in fragrance that stays on your skin after you rinse. It's now the only soap I buy. The medicated soaps are great too. The Poisen Ivy one really helped my son with his poisen oak adventure last summer. If you buy directly from the factory the prices are better. Worth a stop on your next visit.

Our family has used soap by Garden Path for many years. We order over the phone and have it delivered when we cannot visit PA. I have tried others and none compare to Sylvia's! Highly recommend.

Great shop to pick up hand crafted soap and lip balm. They sell some products at Green Dragon, but the store has better selection. We especially like the lavender, peppermint, and chocolate mint lip balm.

Each time I visit this store I find something new. We pick up over $100 of products for gifts each year here in Iowa. People love them and request more!

I happened upon this place a couple of years ago and stop there every year now. I believe the woman who owns it is Amish. Although she may be Mennonite. They sell home made soaps and candles. They have a nice selection of soaps and without a lot of the chemicals you get from commercial soap. This last visit I bought enough soap to stock up for the next year. I have never bought any candles there, although while on this visit that is what they were making out the time. I believe tour buses go there now, so if you happen to be there when they are you will probably here the owner or whoever is working at the time explain the place better.
