About
Lenne Estate is a family owned and operated boutique producer of premium pinot noir and Chardonnay. We are located in the northern Willamette Valley near the towns of Yamhill and Carlton and our tasting room is situated in the heart of our scenic hillside vineyard. Lenne's vineyard is situated on exceptionally poor soil which leads to small batches of very full flavored and robust pinot noirs. We are open 7 days a week during the summer and fall, Weds-Sun the rest of the year. Walk-ins are always welcome and we love 1st time visitors. Enjoy a standard or reserve flight tasting, or any of our wines by the glass. We are picnic and dog-friendly and also have delicious cheese and charcuterie boards for purchase. We also offer premium experiences with guided vineyard tours and private reserve tastings; please reserve those in advance.

After experiencing a very poor welcoming down the road it was refreshing to be welcomed in like family.
This is a must visit while out looking for Pinot Noir in the wine country around Yamhill. Be sure to ask about when they are going to fire up their pizza oven...it's a great time to visit.

We stopped here for a wine tasting and it was good. The staff was nice and the wine was also good. It was warm the day we were there so it was not as pleasant to sit on the porch, but the view was great.

My wife and I had the pleasure of a private wine tasting hosted by Eric. We had a wonderful vertical tasting with a cheese/charcuterie board. Wine was awesome. We certainly joined the wine club. We can’t wait for our first shipment. Great shipping prices too.

Thanks so much for visiting, and we're delighted you enjoyed the experience. Our spring wine club shipment is going out in early March, and we hope you love the wines.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Lenne Estate with various different groups. Each visit has blown my guests expectations with customer service, views, but especially stunning bold Pinot.
Last time we were there, Eric hosted our private tasting on the upstairs patio. He is FULL of so much information. We learned so much from him! Great customer service. It was a wonderful sunny Fall afternoon. It was the BEST way to close our two day wine tour.

I truly wish they would manage their own page. they have incorrectly set it up and I have contacted them 4 times about it. They refuse to address the issue and Trip Advisor can't seem to remove them from our account. I am glad you had a wonderful time, too bad Eric can't figure out how to properly manage his review platforms. Best to you, Tertulia Cellars

Beautiful location but our tasting room experience was worst of two full days of tasting. Our staff was busy and distracted. Measured each pour as though getting an extra drop in our glass would have been a serious violation. Then one of the staff chased us down in the parking lot when he thought one of our party hadn’t paid their fee. Not a friendly vibe at all.

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your experience more fully. Our policy is to be very generous with the pours and we always offer revisits and bonus off-menu tastes, so I'm surprised to head that feedback. If you're in the area in want to visit again, just let us know you had a previous visit that wasn't so good and we'll comp your visit.

We went to Oregon wine country to see what it was all about, and Lenne estate was the best of the best. The wine was great and flavorful, scenery was wonderful, and we went on one of the first tours offered, which was really well put together.

The wine was so good that we ordered a case, and now need to order a second (two months after the first). When I go back to Oregon wine country, I plan on stopping back in.

The tasting room staff here is A+. Excellent pinots in a gorgeous setting. This is a must see for Oregon wine tasting. The tasting room was busy but they made a point of making our visit memorable and taking us through a variety of pinots. Can’t wait to go back.

We went to this winery on a tasting tour. Located in a beautiful area, we loved the views that we had from the winery. The person in charge of the pouring was not as informative as we had hoped and didn't say a lot about the wines. The wines were quite good, but a little more info would have made for a better visit.

There was a large table for all of us to sit while we sampled. We loved the pinot noir and also tasted the chardonnay. It was not as good as the pinot, but that is my taste. Our group had the place to ourselves, which was nice as it was not a big room.

Nice wine but not my favorite winery on the tour.

On a wine tasting visit through the Willamette Valley, we stopped by Lenne Estate Winery, a gem of a family-run winery owned and run by Steve and Karen Lutz. We were lucky enough to discover in advance that there was a planning comparative tasting we could register for ($45 a person), in which we would sample excellent Pinot Noirs from Lenne and other vineyards in a blind taste test. What a fantastic time! We tasted (and tested) eight different wines (only one from Lenne) with four other couples, and without knowing what we were drinking, rated them and shared our likes and dislikes. I've never been to a winery that pours its own wines and others so you can experience the nuances in wines from the same region in one spot. After the blind tasting (Lenne's bottle did very well but wasn't ranked first), we enjoyed a light lunch and samples a flight exclusively of Lenne's excellent wines. The winery sits on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful valley of vines and vistas. A fantastic day.

You were lucky to stop by on the day of a Blind Tasting and we're glad you enjoyed it. We host half a dozen blind tastings a year, generally featuring Pinot Noirs from Oregon, or else Burgundy, New Zealand, or sometimes California. As you say, Lenne is one of the very few wineries that dare put our wines up against premium quality competitors. Join our mailing list (via www.lenneestate.com) or check our facebook for dates of upcoming blind tastings. Aside from those occasional events, our regular tasting fee is $15, for 5 or 6 Lenne wines, all sourced from fruit that's 100% from our own vineyard.
