Lake was very large and beautiful. Paddling on the river towards the ocean was gorgeous but quite Ling with young kids.

This is a great place to stay. The new owners have made a huge effort to clean this place up and make it a destination. Very helpful and a nice quite camp on the lake.

This lake is a little hard for families to enjoy unless you spend 90% of your time out in a boat fishing. The shore line is filled with trees and plants found along most lakes. Good for Bass fishing but no where to pull up to a bank, sunbathe in privacy, fish or picnic. I stayed at a "resort" and... More

his resort has been under new management since May. They have done wonders creating a resort that is one of the best experiences at an RV park that I have had. The new owners and their family are super friendly, and go out of their way to make your camping experience wonderful. I stayed in a 5th wheel on a... More

This place could use some serious cosmetic time and handyman time. We stayed in the Yurt for 2 days. As we walked up the steps the hand rail FELL OFF. It didn't JUST happen either. The wood needs a serious coat of paint, as it is currently all cracking and peeling off. The owner could easily spend a weekend spiffing... More

Great fishing: we caught some trouts, perches & basses. We also had the chance to water ski, the lake is was not that cold even though we are in October. They even have a toilet boat in the middle of the lake :-)

My husband and I camped at Darlings RV Resort and Marina on Siltcoos Lake (lakefront site). I would not recommend this place, not maintained in the least, no one to check us in or help with questions. Restrooms (not clean or stocked) and were across the street. The sites were so close that our fire pit was mistakenly thought to... More

Stayed the weekend and had a FANTASTIC TIME! Gary the owner was as nice of a host as you could ask for and was extremely friendly and helpful. He told us how to get to the coast by kayak and the best places to eat. He made our trip to Florence cheaper and better than if we just bumbled around... More

Siltcoos lake is quite large, and has healthy populations of warm water fish, including trout and steelhead. Salmon come into the lake during the spring and fall runs. It's also home to a great Boy Scout camp, that has been in use for well over 50 years.

We stayed in a cabin on the lake. We went fishing and had some good luck. The lake is very big and has many arms. Not too good of shore line. Several islands to explor. Not very developed as there weren't many houses on the lake. We will come back again.
