We did not get to tour the island as we intentionally wanted to as it was also a holiday (festival) as they had Jouvert that morning and then a boat race over at Sandy Ground where they celebrate this huge Caribbean Beach Party with lots...More

This was amazing. A beautiful little island that offered a great beach, great service and an amazing food/drink selection. The beach has bed and lounge set-up, picnic tables for lunch and even offer volleyball should you choose. This is a definite must when visiting Anguillla

Nice beach, it is a local beach, you can catch a small ferry to go to Sandy Island. It has nice places to eat and rent snorkel gears.

We were at Sandy Ground for diving through "Shoal Bay Scuba" - actually located at Roy's Place Sandy Ground. The beach is unbeatable, we had a few great meals here, and got to watch the beginning of a regatta. Like Paradise

The beach has a more a casual feelings than the beaches on the West End. I generally suggest spending most of the time on the beaches on the West side of the island but come here when you are looking for more of a crowd.

We decided to take a day trip to Anguilla from St Maarten. A fellow traveler who is from Martinique suggested that we go to Sandy Ground and Sandy Island. I'm not the most adventurous type so I passed on continuing onto Sandy Island and became...More
