Sandy Island is a small cay off Sandy Ground beach in Anguilla. It is quite possibly the most beautiful place one will ever visit.  A popular off island getaway, Sandy Island offers visitors a sensational tropical experience.  It’s far away enough for that quintessential Robinson Crusoe feeling, yet close enough to stay connected to the mainland. The Restaurant opens daily serving fresh seafood and grilled meats, and the bar is fully stocked with ice cold beers and spirits from around the world.

We took the boat from Sandy Ground beach to the island for the day. It is such an amazingly beautiful place. There is one restaurant /bar there that had great food and service. Everyone was so nice! There was live music- a guy with a guitar and a girl singing- she had such a beautiful voice! I actually thought it... More

Beautiful beach. We actually weren't aloud on it when we arrived on our excursion because their was a private music festival going on.

If you want to be Robinson Crusoe for one day just visit this incredible small island. The sand is white and the water is turquoise. You will feel like in paradise. Do not miss the delicious lobsters at the restaurant and the live music on Saturdays.

We spent the afternoon at Sandy Island and loved it. The boat ride out was easy and quick, the beach spectacular, food was great and people very friendly. Angelique, Jose, Dion, El-El, and Judith are super hosts. Truly enjoyed our day there.

WE went over on the first ferry and were able to snag a primo beach bed under the few palm trees available.Without that bit of shade we would have been hard pressed to stay most of the day . The food and drink were surprisingly good and the service was outstanding. It is just a small sandbar but we had... More

If you were ever floating in the ocean and saw this island you would think you found paradise. A tiny island floating off the island of Anguilla with a few palm trees and one small exclusive snack bar looking restaurant. There are chairs and cushions for rent for $10-$20 dollars and a pricey snack bar for drinks and high end... More

This is a tiny little island with a tiny little bar and a lot of music that is often reserved for the day and for good reason. It requires a boat of some sort to get you there. Once you're there you can read, sun bathe, take 10 minutes and walk around the island, have a cocktail party, or have... More

If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Anguilla, this is a trip you would be insane to skip. The boat ride is only 10 minutes, but the experience will last a lifetime. The beauty and tranquility of Sandy Beach is indescribable. It is honestly paradise. We had an incredible lunch with lobster, shrimp, mahi mahi, rum punch, etc.... More
