Prejudice
Sep 2020
We were the Asian group that visited Saturday, September 26, 2020. We experienced nothing less than prejudice in the way the ladies were treated. They were excited for a first time experience at a winery yet they were treated very condescendingly being herded closer and closer together like animals until they resorted to their cultural training or instinct moving to the large round table to avoid the disrespect of the white crowd. Since you had nothing inviting to offer Asians possibly because they were speaking their native language with excitement, I purchased a bottle to open for them in effort to make this the great experience they were anticipating. Keep in mind these are all U.S citizens and speak fluent English had any of you had the courtesy to address them with even the slightest respect as customers. We apologize for interrupting your high society white membership club that feels above these “disgusting” ladies simply because they were different. That is called prejudice and sadly is very typical of the Northwest. After serving in the military during the Vietnam war era I had minimal experience with prejudice in the form of hatred for the military as I stood waiting at a Sears & Roebuck Customer Service counter until there was not one left for the three women to serve except me standing in the required military uniform. Some may not recall the dislike or outright hatred of the military during those times. We were ordered to “stand down” and could say nothing about the way we were treated. Culturally Asians are trained the polite manner of handling a situation like this is to avoid confrontation out of respect for others. Disappointing you could not display even the slightest facade of customer service. Thank you for the reminder of my service for this great country.

It's okay
May 2019
A local winery that is just okay wine. I do love sitting on the lawn or nice chairs while tasting. It is a great family event to bring a picnic and let kids run around on a sunny day. Unfortunately they are only open on the weekends.

Excellent local venue for wine tasting, weddings and parties!!

We've been big fans of Oswego Hills Winery for a number of years! The grounds are beautiful! Perfect weddings, and perfect for parties of any kind. We've had our Christmas party at this venue many times over! Summer concerts are amazing. Summer dinners are so much fun with great food from local restaurants. Love their Pinot Reserve! They are just releasing their Sparkling Pinot Rose this weekend, and can't wait to go taste and buy it.

Great afternoon wine date

I love that we can bring the kids and have a picnic while enjoying lovely wine with friends. I got there early and grabbed a table for a special birthday brunch with my girlfriends. It was just perfect. Winter tasting are cozy.... not enough seating when it’s cold outside... but a nice Sunday date!

Every visit yields a surprise!

We live approximately 1.5 miles from what has become like an old neighbor to us.
The owner and his wife are the head of this wonderful family enterprise. We started visiting the winery in its infant stages when we first moved here 16 years ago. It has always had a friendly vibe matched with a great deal of the charm of a fine winery. We’ve watched selections grow and the best wines being constantly improved. The venue has broadened to include a welcoming outside area wher Sunday afternoons see couples, families, seniors and many out of town visitors gathering. We make it a must visit for all our guests since this very local winery presents a terrific example of Oregon wineries in general. Then, sometimes we go for a hour or two of having a glass while listening to anything to a string quartet to a single acoustic guitar! It’s a must stop for folks just on the first leg of exploring Oregon wine country!

Good effort
Sep 2018
This is a multi-generation family owned and run vineyard. It’s beautiful inside and out, but the wines were not my favorite. Also, it seemed like there wasn’t enough sitting room to do the tasting comfortably. Could use some reorganization.

Winery from a passer-by

I met the folks who own this facility. They have done an incredible job with converting this old dairy into a first class winery and events center. Meticulous in their reconstruction and grounds keeping is an understatement. I've tried their wines and heartily approve. Granted, I am not an oenophile, but I know what I like. I hope you will also.

Great place to meet friends wine taste
May 2018 • Friends
Sitting on the vast lawn with a picnic lunch and a bottle of one of the vineyards offerings is a spring-fall Sunday ritual of many friends and family in the area. The kids can play with friends and parents can relax a bit and catch up while tasting a favorite wine. On sunny Sunday's it's always a crowded place but lots of room both in the tasting room or on the lawn!

Wonderful winery with a wine for EVERY palate!
May 2018 • Family
My family treated me to the Winery’s special Mother's Day event and we had such a great time! Their new events area is beautiful and has ravishing views not to mention the wine which I enjoy so much! Be it a white, red or dessert wine, Oswego Hills has a wine for every palate and several for mine! The service was great and músic was soft and gave so much ambiance while still allowing us to spend time with one another and hear what we said:) The Family has a great sense of purpose service and they really enjoy sharing their wonderful wines with everyone! But I will let you in on a secret, I like just as much - if not more - visiting the Winery for wine tasting on a regular weekend or sitting outside on their lawn and sipping their wine while snacking! Don’t miss a visit to Oswego Hills Winery soon!
