Fort Stevens SP, wonderful! Nicely spaced sites, good roads and plenty of activities. Loved the beach, the fort area and the areas overlooking the river and ocean.

See an actual shipwreck from 1906. The skeleton of this once beautiful 4 masted sailing barque is completely visible. At low tide, the shipwreck is accessible and one of the most photographed shipwrecks in the world.

The kids loved this beach attraction. Lots of new friends to play with, sandcastles to build, interesting scenery. Fort Stevens is one of the most interesting state parks in which I've stayed.

We walked out to see the skeleton of the ship wrecked boat and took some pictures. It is easy to get to and we did not have to show our state park pass to get to it.
