We stopped today. This is a nice, nice park. Apparently this is a place for crabbing. It is also a place for fishing. There is a splendid small beach area which is perfect for families. There are picnic tables and a good number of benches. And, all with a view of the beautiful Alsea Bay and the Alsea Bay Bridge.

Nice place to sit down and have a meal with a campfire. Good place to cook your crab after crabbing if you have your own pot. A little protected from the wind but you still have a nice view of the bridge and the bay. During low tide expensive Beach area to roam around. Nice public boat dock that cost $7 to Launch, do not launch a low tide it is hard to get out.

Docks are very well maintained and it is definitely a busy spot. Crabbing was excellent and was a great sport for my kids 10&12 to learn. Crab are currently big and are amazing! Being from Idaho it was the best crab I have ever eaten!!!! Beaches are fantastic and the locals are so friendly. The whole town is amazing.

This little park is such a hidden treasure. A large parking area allows for easy access. Picnic tables and fire pits are situated between some mounds and are blocked from the wind. The beach is full of treasures: driftwood, rocks, shells, critters, crabs, birds, harbor seals, beautiful sunsets, and more.

Robinson Park is tucked away at the little Port of Alsea, next to the the boat ramp in Old Town. It's a very small park with nice views of the bridge and the bay. From the park, you can walk along the edge of the bay, which is a nice level beach area ... but there are no waves!
We stop by here from time to time in the summer as it does not get the wind that the beach gets. We've enjoyed picnics here too! There are three picnic tables with fire rings next to them. Two are kind of sheltered and one is up on a little knoll with a great view of the water.
There is an informational sign about "ghost shrimping". I find many coastal visitors are not familiar with what this, so this tells them about it.
There are two wooden benches where you can sit and enjoy the view, but to me they are rather uncomfortable unless I've remembered to bring some sort of cushion!
It's a pleasant little park :-)

When we were here, there were no boats. However, there is a lot of places for boats in this park and spacious.
There is an anchor at the middle of the street.
Worthwhile to see!

I live less than 300 yards from Robinson Park, so I know much of what goes on there. Over the last several months the park has been completely closed because of the dredging that's been going on there. But a few weeks ago the dredge completed its work and went away. The park is again open to all, and it's really nice to have that facility back. Things are almost back to normal. Boaters and fishermen/crabbers are starting to return. "It's nice to be back."

Crab dock, wonderful river views and proximate food and beverage venues make this a nice place to visit...especially on a Sunny Oregon day!
