A waterfall on the way to Multnomah Falls

You can see this waterfall from the road when you are driving on 30 to Multnomah a Falls. It is a small waterfall, but nice.

Its a short hiking path, but the views are amazing with every step. I could visit here time and again and never get bored of it.

Shepperd's Dell Falls are the smallest of the major falls found along Hwy30, but should not be missed. The falls are located 1/2 mile west of Bridal Veil, with parking for 2-4 cars only on the North side of the road. The falls are located across the road from the parking, and there are a set of stairs leading down... More

It is a beautiful place! You will only have to walk a very short distance and the trail is paved. Parking is limited but people are usually there for a short period of time.

This is the second waterfall after Latourell Falls and the fourth stop on the Scenic Highway. Blink and you'll miss it. There is a tiny parking lot just after the Shepperd's Dell sign. The waterfall drops in multiple tiers, but only the lower section (61 ft.) is really visible from the bridge. The upper portions of the waterfall are hidden... More

Stop, park, get out of your car. This place is gorgeous and you don't have to walk far up the trail to see the beauty of the place.

This little secluded fall area is easy to drive right by, but a very satisfying stop, so keep on the lookout. There is a little bit of off-road parking just beyond the sign post at the end of the bridge and then a short, curving, paved trail slopes down and around to the tumbling stream falls hiding in the trees.... This is a cool waterfall and hardly anyone stops to see it because it's tucked back off the roadway view. There's a short paved trail that leads you close up to the falls. Stop #3 on the scenic highway falls tour.

I stopped in the little roadside pull off and walked back to the bridge to take the very short trail to photograph this waterfalls. I liked the falls, but the photography and viewing options are limited and the pull-off is not terribly large, nor do I remember a sign for it.

After doing the 2.4 miles loop at Latourell Falls, I was tired and wanted to do something low-key and this was perfect and only a 1.2-mile drive from Latourell. This waterfall gets so few visitors that it does not even have a parking lot. One can view the waterfall from the bridge or one can take a two minute hike... More
