Columbia Gorge Premium Outlet is a small outdoor mall in Troutdale, Oregon. No high end shops which is great for the pocketbook. Decent selection of stores to browse and shop at. Very few eateries.

Worth checking out because Oregon has No Sales Tax!

Columbia Gorge is a ok for an outlet and it’s close to Portland. It my third visit and I found it less appealing this time. Not great deals, the staff in all the stores were all helpful. Harry & David was really good as it usually is.

You know, every outlet store has their specialty. This one has the blankets there. So far, I have purchased 3 blankets...made in USA. In the back right corner is the location where I purchase the best deals ever. I am not going to tell you what it is I purchase there, but be assured, this area is the real bargain in the store. Our salesgal told me I was right on, and had a good eye.

They have better outlet malls, unless you absolutely need something, I would take a pass on this mall

There are a few good stores such as Coach and Pendleton, but also the run of the mill VanHuesen. Go up the street to downtown Troutdale for lunch, since the only food place is a Subway. There are deals to be had (found $5 sweat pants at Hanes), so be prepared to dig. There are also some stores such as Bath and Body that are not technically outlet, so be cautious of what you are purchasing and the price point.

I go to Tommy Hilfigers for great casual clothes marked down.
I shop at Bass for shoes and jewelry.
Go to VanHuesen for accessories for men or women.
Kitchen store is Da bomb.
Perfumania, Dress Barn and Harry's & Davids are also stops that I enjoy.

We caught a bus from Portland and enjoyed the scenery though it was quite a long way. VERY high temperatures when we were there (97 F) so we flitted from one A/C shop to next. Seeking sandals for hard to fit feet and had to compromise but then found the ice cream Best ever, no sweet after flavour. Funkiest toffee apples.
