Aloha, Tillamook County Creamery tour should be a must see, if you're in the area. The Creamery is a modern co-operative cheese processing plant but they have taken great efforts to present its historical past. There staff our charming and delightful rural folks, the gift...More

We stopped here on our trip down the Oregon coast. Have to admit was a little overrated but it was worth the stop. Free samples of cheese and the ice cream is amazing!

I personally felt this attraction is overrated. Luckily it's free. I wouldn't have paid admission. I would not come to Tillamook just to see this factory, you'd be wasting your time. It's not that interesting. The front gift shop had NOTHING to do with Cheese...More

Stopped by this location last week while on vacation with my wife. At first I was not thrilled about visiting a craemery since I grew up on a farm, but after going inside it was a nice place to visit and is especially good if...More

We were really looking forward to this, but it was just too busy for us and the tour was not that great. If you are in the area, yes stop by, but certainly not worth driving all the way just for this attraction.

They really have this place organized to handle lots of people. We were surprised how many people were visiting in the off season on a rainy day, but it didn't feel crowded. The place is quite large, so it handles crowds well. There was no...More

The tour of this cheese factory is extremely well organized. And it has to be because there are huge numbers of people stopping there. It is self-directed and you can view the interesting production lines. You don't see the large vats, but that is boring...More

These Tillamook farmers do a great job of explaining why the Oregon coast is ideal for dairy. Hint: it has something to do with the rain, mild weather and abundant grasslands. I went to graduate school in Wisconsin (dairy capitol of America) and learned a...More

First of all, it's free. Other than that, you get to view the factory floor. Most of the actual cheese-making is completed within large vats, so you don't see much of the initial stages, but there is plenty of action on the slicing and packing...More

Yes there is a large parking lot. You could drive a 45 and find parking, however I would arrive early.
