About Tillamook Cheese Factory
Our brand-new Tillamook Creamery in Tillamook, Oregon, is now open! Curious about how Tillamook products are made? And what it means to be a farmer-owned and farmer-led company? What’s makes our products so delicious? You’ll find answers to these questions and more on your self-guided Creamery tour, with interactive kiosks, viewing windows, videos and lots of fun stops along the way. You’ll have a bird’s-eye view of our cheesemaking and packaging teams in action, churning out more than 160,000 pounds of Tillamook Cheese each and every day. And of course the tour wouldn’t be complete without sampling some of that cheese. If the Creamery tour only whets your appetite, stop by the ice cream counter or check out the new dining area for an updated menu showcasing Tillamook products in delicious real food dishes, including wood fire pizzas and everyone’s favorite, grilled cheese sandwiches, and more! Looking for something lighter? Stop by our coffee and yogurt bar for a tasty treat.

I have been wanting to visit the Tillamook factory for a long time. I must confess that I am a factory tour buff. I am intrigued by how things are made and mass production. Tillamook did not disappoint. I enjoyed the Tillamook history display, the...More

We are big fans of Tillamook Creamery products (we get them in California). Have wanted to visit the plant. We got there early and it was not busy. Nice self-guided tour - which I think is a misnomer. You do not need a guide. The...More

Loved the cheese samples. It was super crowded on the rainy day we went mid week. The tour is a set of about 15 windows overlooking the factory floor below. Interesting panels described what you were seeing. We needed something to do on a rainy...More

To me the food was the best part of visiting the factory. Seeing the factory machines was interesting, but the food was great. You MUST GET THE FRIED CHEESE CURDS, unbelievably good. We tried the Pimento Burger, pizza, and grilled cheese... all good. Pro Tip:...More

We appreciated the informative self-guided tour and loved the ability to view multiple steps in the viewing area. We weren’t actually able to see the cheese making process, though. We were blown away by the gift shop - so many options! We did notice the...More

I always wanted to go here, and i was a little let down. There isnt much to the "tour". You just walk down a hallway and view the factory from above. Cool to see, but There was maybe a half an hour you could spend...More

Stopped here while driving through Tillamook for lunch and was a little disappointed. The place is completely packed, and we felt overpriced. Due to the mass quantities of food being prepared there wasn’t any attention to detail. The grilled cheese was cold and was nothing...More

The place is completely remodeled with tons of parking, but I'm not sure it's an improvement. Coming here feels like what animals probably feel in large-scale farming. Everything is clean, very efficient, and designed to extract the maximum value from you with the least labor....More

Yes there is a large parking lot. You could drive a 45 and find parking, however I would arrive early.
