Josh is a great guide and we would recommend the Hoquarton Forest tour. Two of our group were novices but felt very comfortable kayaking in this location.

My boyfriend and I had an excellent few hours of kayaking through the Nehalem River with Josh and Jetty. We were both new to kayaking, but Josh was a great teacher, and catered the tour to our skills and interests. Would absolutely recommend to both rookies and to more experienced kayakers (as they offer more intense tours, as well). During COVID, they're limiting their bookings to private tours, which works well for an activity like this.

An exceptional operation in every way. Good quality equipment in fine condition, excellent instructional briefing including some interesting nuances about kayaking, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. It's flawless. And it just feels good. Oh yes, the scenery is gorgeous and the experience serene as well, but that's not what this review is about.

Great experience from the initial booking to the end of our tour. Great communication for the booking and getting our tour set-up. They took our skill level into consideration when we were choosing where to go and had a blast in Netarts Bay. Josh was awesome and knowledgable. Precautions were taken due to Covid not goodtimes. Definitely recommend for a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

Good Day Glittersaurusrex - We very much appreciate you sharing your experience with future guests. The ocean tides are complicated and we try our very best to make our waterways accessible to others. Thank you so much! Hope to see you out on the water again sometime. Kindly, Marcus

We are a family of 5 - two adults and 3 teens. We did the Miami Cove & River Tour. It was terrific!!!!! The guide was knowledgeable, helpful and observed all Covid protocols. It was a fun and safe way to get out of the house for the day. We are novice kayakers. The guide did a great job of giving instructions and letting us explore and figure it out. Marcus in the office did a good job of working with our schedule, the tide tables and recommending tours he thought would work with for our family level of ages/physical abilities and experience. They are pretty busy right now, so book well in advance. I would highly recommend anyone in the PDX area book a trip with this group and get out of the house for the day!

Dear Dana D - What a fantastic review. As you mentioned, our waterways are very complicated as the ocean tides come in and out of our rivers and bays 2-3 times per day. We so much appreciate you letting others know how we operate. Please come back anytime! We consider connecting with nature an essential health activity and one of the safest things someone could do with everything going on right now. Kindest Regards, Marcus
