This shopping area is very cute. I remember coming as a kid & a teen.

We took our family during Covid. The businesses are good about wearing masks, signs up to social distance. I know outside is better than inside, but we were just surprised at how many people were not wearing them walking around, when there's lots of people. We were getting a shave ice and a guy was asking a question with his mask in his hand, his girlfriend in the doorway asking questions too, with no mask. Kids running through or biking and yelling, no mask.

Most of the license plates were Oregon, WA, Ca...where we all have measures. It just seemed like because they're on vacation they forgot to be safe. We were exhausted from just the people in the village or at the North Store.

Also, I don't want a mask debate....just putting it out there for someone coming to the area that's trying to be safe.

The ice had many areas that had thawed, puddled and frozen again leaving ridges; there was a lot of area covered in deep grooves. Seems like staff could help a parent getting the “walkers” out when it isn’t busy and they are dealing with toddlers-would be nice customer service. The viewing area with the fireplace was really nice.

A lovely little afternoon stroll around the village to kill a couple hours. Lots of fun stores with very friendly staff and locals.
There was a really cool fundraiser going on while we were there and also a really cool mini golf course that we didn't have a chance to play but looked super fun!
If you find yourself in or passing through Sunrivier the village is worth stopping and taking a look around.

The Village at Sunriver is a good place to go when: you're in the mood for leisurely "window shopping," you want a good book, you're kids are climbing the walls (more about that later) or it's raining. The small Village has a fun collection of shops, eateries, and attractions for the whole family. If you've got a thing against little kids, well then I've gotta ask, "What are you doing in Sunriver?" This is a family resort and even though I no longer have little kids, I love seeing them laughing and playing and enjoying themselves. The shops range from gift shops (The Lazy Daisy is my favorite) to bookstores (Sunriver Books is one of the BEST book shops bar none) to a tacky, but popular "blow up" kids' playground with climbing walls and bouncy things, along with a putt-putt golf course (under cover in case of rain). The Brew Pub is in the Village (good food and good craft beer) and Blondie's Pizza is just across the road. Check it out. It's worth a visit.

My wife and I wanted to rent bikes, while we were in Sunriver. Unfortunately the Sunriver Bike Barn was closed, so we decided to rent bikes from the Village Bike Shop. This was the first great experience we had at the Villlage. Then we headed over to the shops in the Village and had a blast talking to shop owners and exploring the local art scene there. Next over tho the Brewery another great find. Lastly some great Mexican food, outside table and lots of sun. I would highly recommend getting over to the Village next time your in Slunriver.

We spend lots of time at the Village whenever we visit Sunriver - nightly trips to Goodies, bumper cars, little train, bouncy stuff... We also love picking up souvenirs and other cool stuff in all the shops. And there are a bunch of great places to eat and drink.

We rented three bikes and two single trailers for the youngest grandchildren from Village Bike and Ski. It was the end of the day and availability was slim. My wife and I have rented bikes in several cities from Vancouver, BC, Canada, to Washington DC and have never ridden bikes in better condition or more well tuned than these bikes were. If you want to ride in the Sunriver area this is an excellent very affordable place to rent.

The village got a major facelift in recent years and attracted more businesses to move in. I love to stroll and visit local shops, sample ice cream, have a bite to eat. It's an easy bike to the Village from anywhere. It's fun to bring some knick knacks from Sunriver which then remind you of the fun time you had!
To sum it up- we love to dine, eat ice-cream, play mini golf and just hang around with a cup of joe from Hot Lava on any given day we visit Sunriver. My heart will always be there!

I've been visiting Sunriver for many years (maybe 40), but about five or six years between visits. Each time we come the Village has grown and improved. A very good thing, since the nearest town with shops and restaurants is about a 30 minute drive from here. There is now a good selection of casual restaurants, shops and services. Sunriver is a wonderful spot to visit in summer to soak up some sun or winter for skiing. The Village remains a good spot for all our needs.
