My Daughter's family own a Condo here, so we visit yearly. Always try to play golf. All courses are different "challenge" levels, with Crosswater (tournament level course) the most challenging and difficult to get on. Other one we play (can't recall the name....Woodlands?) was in great shape and easier for the average golfers. Immaculately manicured greens on all. And SUCH... More

I only played the Woodlands golf course and it was perfect. Excellent condition, with ample fairways, but it still tests the better golfer. Greens were perfect. Firm and fast. We tee'd off about 7:45 and played in well under 4 hrs. My kind of golf. I did go to Crosswater to use the range but the AJGA had the place... More

Crosswater gets all the press because it is supposedly a difficult challenge. And it is. But it is not the big bruiser some would claim. It is hard only because it has a few holes with water along one side of the fairway--it's easier to go over water than to play along side of it. Both courses are in excellent... More

Flown and driven in several times over the years-stayed private homes and the resort, find rentals that fit any pocket book, adequate stores, liquor outlet, tennis golf, swimming pools, fishing in the river, river rafting and kayaking and nearby lakes, skiing in the winter at Bachlor Mt. town of Bend is great especially the historic old town with micro breweries... Wonderful course... great condition! Greens are fast, but true... SUGGESTIONS: Practice facility should be improved. More targets... defined distances. Give it a try!

Don't get me wrong - I like a challenge, but if you haven't played Crosswater it can be downright unfair. There are several holes where you simply cannot hold the green and should not fire at the pin, and a few that you must fire at the pin in order to have a prayer of holding the green. But if... More

5+ hour round! ball marks abound on new Bent greens. Multiple pricing by tee times changed by frost delays. Chipping greens loaded with practice balls and no clearing devices Eight minute tee separation times Plenty of other courses to consider. Waste of a good golfing day; not for me

There are two courses to play at Sunriver among the four. Crosswater is the gem of the group, a top 100 that you can play course, that is extremely well manicured. There are three holes that force short drives that are not necessarily fun for most golfers and difficult to learn to play correctly, but the course is a "can't... More

My husband played The Meadows (south course) in July. He plays it at least once every summer and always enjoys the challenge, vistas, etc.

Everyone who golfs wants to try one of the top golf courses in the US - my son did for sure and it didn't disappoint. The greens are great and the views spectacular. They golfed in the late afternoon and pace of play was a little slow toward the end, but overall they enjoyed it.
