I enjoy art museums & this is a lovely one. Clean, open, and fascinating exhibits. The gift shop offers a wonderful variety of locally made items for about every taste. My grandkids and I enjoy our visits. Highly recommend you stop in!

Quick Thing To Do
Jul 2016
Quick thing to do when you're in the area. Just before heading to the Eugene Market, we stopped here to check out the Simpson's mural outside, then came inside to look at the Art. They had paintings, watercolor, photography, etc. Everything was for sale starting around $50. There was also a gift store and appeared to be sign ups for art classes.

I love dropping into to the Emerald Art Gallery. The current show of The Watercolor Society is great. There is always a permanent display and many rotating show. The charming old building has wonderful murals on the side and back. If you want a quick inspirational fix, go here.

Geat find!
Dec 2014 • Family
This was a great find as we wandered through Springfield, OR. We combined this with a trip to the Springfield Museum (also on Main street) and a walk through the area to view the colorful murals - including the Simpson Mural on the side of the Emerald Art center. This looks to be a fun place to be involved if you live in the area. They display work from local artists, photographs, paintings and even highly detailed dolls. The curator was very friendly. All this and it was FREE.
