About
In the heart of the southern Willamette Valley, Iris Vineyards produces world-class, award-winning Oregon wine from grapes grown at our Chalice Vineyard. The cool climate in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range allows the grapes to mature slowly while maintaining the proper acid balance that is essential for producing the finest Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Whether enjoying a flight at our downtown Springfield wine bar, becoming a member of our Trellis Club, or purchasing a bottle of our wine to enjoy at home: Iris Vineyards welcomes you.

What a wonderful afternoon! We were greeted by your gracious staff and had one of the best red wine/charcuterie board combos I ever had. I was just traveling through, had heard from a local about this tasting room, was pleased to experience; it's filled with great wines, art and great service. I look forward to returning soon!

Great place to kill some time while sipping delicious wine. Located near the Simpsons mural(s) and Emeral Art Center.
Try their flight of red wine and the Syrah.

The setting, staff, menu and wine flights were top notch! However the music was marginal the night we visited, a cover band was playing. Musical talent was fine but too loud for the intimate outdoor setting, even though we chose a table as far away as possible the music was intrusive. We really were there to taste wine, talk about the flavors, savor the food and visit with friends. I suggest having background music that is more appropriate for a wine-setting than a bar-setting.
We ordered $12 & $16 flights because of the variety of wines offered and because they included wines made from the onsite vineyard grapes. It would have been nice to have a small handout of the flights we ordered so we could comment on the ones we liked and take them home for future reference. The young woman who poured was certainly knowledgeable but as at many wineries the comments about what we should taste in the wine was a little overboard. As wine tasters it is nice to form our own opinions. A very short comparison between one wine and the other would have sufficed, not descriptions of full blown mixture of tastes that someone else determined. Example description that would have fit our purposes much better: “Because this wine was made from x grapes you might notice a fruitier, lighter etc. taste than the previous one.”, that would have set us up but still leave it open to discussion.
The staff was very accommodating with the menu and serving flights to us on the patio rather than in the tasting room. We LOVED that because we had brought our own picnic including bread. They customized the cheese/dried fruit plates a bit to omit their bread and add a little extra cheese etc. That was so very nice. Their offerings were a delicious pairing to our own picnic food.
Wine taste is personal and certainly influence by mood, food, time of day and your taste buds on any particular day. We did enjoy the smoothness of all the wines and purchased their 2014 Pinot Noir & Chardonnay among others. The cost of the flight is waived with a certain purchase, very nice. It would be nice if they also comp ‘ed the designated-driver drink cost (sparkling cider in our case) but don’t know if that is standard at wineries.
We definitely want to return for another summer or early fall evening at Iris Vineyard soon.

Again, hard to find if you aren't familiar with the area but worth the hunt. Beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor seating available. Food is offered for a fee, appetizing and relatively inexpensive. wine Flight prices are standard for the area, $15 for 5 tastings, prices waved if you purchase.a bottle. Wine and experience was such we joined the wine club and was immediately invited to a private tasting and meeting the following weekend. A very progressive winery.

We were staying with friends in Corvallis for the weekend and decided to do a little bit of wine tasting. We stopped into Iris Vineyards and what a lovely time we had. Fabulous tasting flights and friendly knowledgeable staff. We ended up with 2 cases of their Rose' and some Syrah. Took some time for a picnic lunch we brought with under the beautiful wisteria vines. Highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area. They have something for everyone and their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the wine. I will be back for sure.

Once a year we do a winery tour in Oregon, this year we found Iris vineyards. This place is picture perfect, great photo ops. Bring your camera! The patio, which is larger than my house, is gorgeous. It is overgrown with the biggest wisteria vines I have ever seen. I hope its a venue, it would be great place to hold a wedding. The wines we tried were tasty and served with a flourish. It was a great place to spend an hour with friends and a plate of bread and cheese.

Iris Vineyard is the perfect place to stop for a glass (or bottle) of wine and elegant snack. The 2014 Pinot Noir and Applegate Valley Steelhead Vineyard Syrah were our favorite picks of the day. Pair your wine with the Italian burrata, Spanish olive oil and sopressata salami! Beautiful outdoor seating with a view of the rolling hills and grape vines. Delicious, great value and the best customer service in the region!

This is a great winery. The wines are great. The view is just spectacular. Just the drive thru the estate to the winery is well worth it. We visited in a wet April when the vines were bare but the experience was well worth it.

Is this place kid friendly? Sounds like a silly question but a friend of mine wants to go and said it was kid friendly.

We are all ages for indoor and outdoor seating. The only 21 and over seating is at the bar. Thank you for your question!
