These trails have been created by the Sisters Trail Alliance and Oregon Equestrian Trails. Separate trails for cyclists and horses. Please just stay on your own respective trails!!

My husband and I were impressed with the mountain biking trails here. There are many options. We loved the opportunity to go to numerous junctions and make it to the top of Peterson Trail and see a great view of Three Sisters and all around.

Quite dusty, but other than that a good riding experience. Nicely maintained trail system that offers flowing single track to the more challenging rock gardens. Numerous connector trails offers you a large variety to "mix and match" your riding experience. The ride we chose was the PRT West and PRT East Loop. Plenty of variety for most all riding abilities.... More

Wonderful trail system for bikers and foot traffic. It was a little dusty in June, but otherwise great conditions. The maps available in the parking area were a great asset for a newcomer to the trails. Trails are designed so that you can do a loop trip back to you starting point at many intervals down the trail, and you... More

Great trail system very well-marked. Easy to find on Highway 20. Good views from the Western Trail looking South West.

Go up Hwy 16, down Middle and East! A bit confusing but we stuck to Middle and East and had a lovely time!

Peterson Ridge trail is a great place to run, walk, hike or bike. The network of trails is very well marked, sign posts at every intersection. The trailhead is a very short walk from the main part of town. Mostly flat trail and very easy to follow. No crowds, we only saw two other groups on the trail! Bring your... More

We traveled to Sisters for a mountain biking race that took advantage of the Peterson Ridge Trail and all it's greatness. Much of it is flat. There is a large network of trails that is suitable for biking, hiking and trail riding. Be warned thought that the area is high desert and is dusty and dry so pack water and... More

This is a gem of a trail system for all but the most advanced hardcore rider. Lots of variety and stunning scenery. Beautifully maintained by the Sisters Trails Alliance. Free trail maps available at the trailheads. Starts right in town - park for free at the Village Green park. Cold beer awaits you at the end!
