Nothing exceptional

We stopped in to try the chocolate's. Got a variety and like many other specialty stores their prices are on the higher side. The chocolate was ok. But not really worth the price. Since our visit they have also moved locations. Wouldn't go back.

Selection could improve
Nov 2017 • Solo
First of all the owner is lovely. You will get great service and nice conversation and the pride of small town service that make Silverton great. That being said, it pains me to say that the decisions of what to buy really need improvement. I understand that being a niche business in a small town, there probably isn’t enough demand for an extensive stock. However, the selection needs to improve. The cotton candy needs to go. The moonstruck needs to go (it’s far too saturated and available at Roth’s). I’d like to see them full of local confections and hard to find nostalgic candies with longer shelf-lives. There’s my 2 cents. If you happen to be passing by and want a decent chocolate, do stop in, but if you want a better selection, you can find it elsewhere.

Pricey but good.

We were looking for something chocolate after lunch and checking out the shops in Silverton. We settled on a chocolate peanut butter convection that was close to a Reese's cup. It was a little more peanut butter than a Reese's but still very good. The down side is $7 for 2 pieces of candy is a bit steep. Yeah, it's vacation time. Sometime you have to splurge and treat yourself.

Cute shop

We came to hear a jazz band that plays every first Friday of the month. This band is so very good!!!
We had a couple chocolates and tea. I was a little disappointed that the chocolates aren't made in house and they were just ok. Everything they have is ordered in. They had lots of treats and things to buy.
Very cute shop.

Old Fashioned goodness

A wonderful old fashioned chocolate shop with superior customer service and excellent chocolates. Tends to be on the more expensive side but the experience is worth it. A great selection of chocolates, wines and other nick naks.

The Chocolate Box is a fantastic place to get a sweet treat while visiting Silveron, OR. The selection of goodies rivals candy stores of large cities. A definite place to indulge your sweet tooth.

This is your "sweet tooth" addition to a Silverton visit. I only stopped for a quick bite, but can say it was delicious. I should have gotten a box to take home. Very friendly service.

Great Service
May 2016 • Couples
The owner is very friendly. The chocolate is not made by the Chocolate Box and she is very upfront about that (it is all made in Oregon or Washington. She has good taste and the chocolates we purchased were very good. The price is a little high, $3 to $4 per piece but worth it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review but, more importantly, for visiting my shop and purchasing from us. I am so pleased that you enjoyed the chocolates and that you were kind enough to suggest to others that they may enjoy our shop as well. As you note, I do not make the chocolates but I am the official "taster" and "selector" of everything in my shop. I've tried to find my customers the absolute best confections made in Oregon, based on quality of appearance, quality of ingredients and price. We've supported many very talented chocolatiers who have their own small business over the years because they deserve the business based on the overall quality of their products. Our variety of offerings are extensive and range in price from $1.50 to $4.50 a piece (we do have some "huge" size marshmallows, rocky road bars, coconut bars, pretzels and peanut butter bars that can feed an army) and are a bit more pricey than the majority of our other products which average $1.75 to $2.50 a piece. We do hope your review and those others that we have received encourage other travelers to come visit us and experience the best of the best confections which we pride in offering to all. Thank you again.
