The gardens are interesting and well kept. Staff very helpful answering any questions. A ride on the tram will give you much information about the gardens and an overview of the area so that you can go back and walk through areas of interest. All staff very nice and friendly!

Although we have lived in the area several years we had heard often about the Oregon Gardens. When friends visited us from Iowa who were avid gardeners we thought this would be a great place to take them. We were not disappointed. Flora and fauna of all kinds are to be found here. The layout was great and the tram... More

Oregon Garden is an excellent place for visitors of any age. There is a shuttle that gives you a tour of the gardens & the tour guides are very knowledgeable of the history of Oregon Garden.

Nicely designed and cared for landscaping. Great way to see plants and flowers you may want to plant in your own yard. Wonderful kids area as well as several local to Oregon spaces, such as conifers, wildflowers, and horticulture. Plant blooms vary throughout the year of course, so check their web site. Nice paths for walking or take a tram... More

Spent a weekend enjoying sights and activities around the Willamette Valley. The Oregon Garden always pleases the senses. This 80 acre garden offers a variety of trees, plants and water features. Take the 25 minute tram ride to get an overview of the garden. The tram takes you by the Oregon Garden Hotel where you can enjoy lunch if you... More

I had thought about scheduling a family trip here for years, but had no concept of what we were missing. On this first trip, we took along a couple friends who hadn't been there either, and it was quite enjoyable for all of us. We rode the tram and got a good overview as well as historical information from the... More

My husband and I along with another couple were staying at the Resort here and enjoyed a complimentary shuttle ride around the gardens and it was lovely and informative. We then walked around to see more detail while we stayed at the resort. This is quite a place and the people here work very hard to keep it looking beautiful... More

Lovely gardens and cafe. Perfect way to spend a low key afternoon. Also check out Frank Lloyd Wright house. We walked from town and it was about 1 mile but enjoyable.

This was our second time this year and we enjoyed it in the Summer almost as much as we did in the Spring. there were only a few things that gave us pause: 1) The Cafe's food is pretty awful, even if the drinks are OK. I would recommend having food elsewhere in Silverton before or after your visit. We... More
