A "do not miss" for all garden lovers, and those that want to be.The grounds provide easy walking, also a tram that offers an excellent narrated overview of the gardens. Very good cafe attached to the gift shop (soup is delicious & sandwiches use heirloom tomatoes from the garden). This garden speaks well for the city of Silverton & Oregon... More

The Oregon Garden was beautiful and has grown tremendously over the years. Just be aware that the Oregon Garden is not owned by the Oregon Garden Resort. As usual, our visit to the Garden was wonderful. To see my review of the Resort, type in Oregon Garden Resort reviews.

When compared with other major gardens of its type, both in the U.S. and abroad, The Oregon Garden comes out somewhere in the middle of the pack. It has some outstanding features (e,g., its fountains and other water features), but its selection of flowers, shrubs and other decorative vegetation is in no way distinctive or memorable. Signing is good, and... More

Visited in early September, when many flowers were perhaps a little past their best but the dahlias were still beautiful. The gardens are extensive with a multitude of different themes everywhere. We would recommend taking the little tram around first to orientate yourself than choose where you want to walk to. Alternatively use the tram as a hop-on hop-off at... More

Don't miss this jewel. With a wide variety of habitats to explore (from wetland, to forest, to a darling children's area) this is a terrific place for families. Flat and well accommodated to people in wheelchairs or other adaptive devices, it would be a terrific destination for intergenerational clans. We also delighted in the the gift shop!

Even in September the garden was amazing. It would be worth a trip in Spring/early Summer just to see everything in bloom. The tram tour was worth the 25 minute tour and was very informative. I thought the garden was well thought out and was really a great collaboration of several local groups.

During our last visit to the garden we experienced "Sunsets in the Garden" and "Art in the Garden", both wonderful. The change of seasons brings out different colours and changes the experience. We would recommend the Oregon Garden to everyone. It takes us just over 7 hours to get there, and it's always worth the drive! The knowledgeable staff, being... More
