Great first winery to visit in the Willamette Valley area
Oct 2020
Would highly recommend going here first before visiting any other winery in the Willamette valley area; loca grapes (for the most if not all of it). It was cloudy and it rained. Still one was able to see the valley; there was ample parking; Lyuda was the pourer; very nice and professional; but would like to know more about sugar content in the wines; bought pinot gris because it was the driest of the wines; tried their riesling which was good but not sure if I would rate as the best riesling in the world. Also tried some different pinot noir. Saw the owner but was busy chatting with a club member. Would definitely come back and try this winery first again.

Best in the Area!

What a great find in searching for wineries! This place was awesome and scenery was beautiful beyond words. It was such a nice day so sitting outside and drinking wine was a great social distancing activity! What a fun place and amazing service. I purchased two whites.

Good wines and service
Sep 2019
J Wrigley is a bit off the beaten path and well worth the detour. They have a sparkling wine, chardonnay and several pinot noirs. All were very nice. Our server, Lyunda, was excellent. One of the owners even stopped in. Cheese trays available for purchase.

Decided to visit here on a whim. Interesting to find for Google doesn't know how to get here. Go to Sheridan and follow the signs.

Very friendly and personable staff. Average to very good wines. Prices are more reasonable than some.

They have a great view and patio. A wonderful place to share a very good cheese plate and enjoy some wine on a clear sunny afternoon.

The name says it all...... J Wringley Vineyards. If you have ever wondered about or if your an expert with the process and all that goes into a vineyard than you want, No you need to stop to marvel how it's done from start to finish. Plain and simple, a must see fun time.
Hope you enjoy because we did.

Do not miss this!

The wine is great (and affordable), the views from the patio are amazing and the staff could not be more hospitable. We stayed overnight in our 28 ft RV through Harvest Host (in fact, we were their very first HH guest!). The site is level and, as a surprise bonus!, we had a 30 amp electric and water hook up. After doing a full tasting we bought two Pinots, the Cuvée and the Estate Select. The Cuvée, which is a bit lighter bodied than the Estate, was a perfect pairing to the lamb chops we grilled for dinner. We ate on the patio, which has Panoramic views overlooking the winery’s 200 acres, Mt Hood’s snow cap visible in the distance. Since we were the only campers, we had the place to ourselves all evening. We played baggo and backgammon, read novels and relaxed under the beautiful Oregon sky. Amazing experience, which we hope to repeat soon. If you’re in the area, DO NOT MISS this winery!

Half the fun is in getting there!

Be willing to drive 2 miles on a gravel road. But the view is worth it when you get there. They have a sunny patio with a few lawn games and plenty of seating. One of our three couples bought a bottle of pinot. Lady serving wine was feiendly and very helpful.

Great place and great people

We stayed at the winery via VRBO. The place was excellent and the owners (John and Jody) were great, as well as there staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The staff (Dani and Chelsey) were also awesome. Would definitely recommend. The wines were all very good as well.

Enjoyable winery with terrific views

Getting to J Wrigley is interesting. You drive a few miles down Cherry Hills Road and when it appears to deadend you veer left onto a one-lane (but two way) gravel road to the top of the hill where the winery sits. It is a lovely winery with a great deck but not a lot of shade to be found on their patio so better on cooler days. Melissa poured wines for us and we really enjoyed their Pinot Noirs. We came to realize that wine tasting is the way to go. If you buy a glass of wine - be prepared at J Wrigley and other McMinnville wineries for a small 4 oz. pour. I was not a fan of their small tasting glasses as it's hard to swirl wine and the Pinot glasses are used by virtually every other winery in the region -- for good reason. Still, we found it a pleasant excursion and their wines are well done and not terribly expensive.

May wedding
May 2017
My nephew's wedding there was wonderful. Jodi (owner) was very friendly and accommodating, the wine is good & the views are terrific. Weather was sunny, and you could see across the valley,
even Mt Hood and Mt Jefferson on Saturday. The wedding was Hindu, with a pre-wedding ceremony on Friday, and wedding on Saturday.
