About
With over 100 craft items, a beaded jewelry making area, and painting our studio is a fun place to create without worrying about the mess. Open Studio is the time to make whatever you would like and then take it home at the end of your visit. There are no limits or rules to your art. For an additional fee, we also provide canvases and art kits.

Great for Pre-Schoolers!

We took our 4 year old to Young At Art studio today & she really had a lot of fun! It's a great place for little ones to paint and do crafts- without messing up your house in the process :) She did not want to leave this place !!

Fun art studio and classes!
Jul 2016 • Family
We have attended several classes at Young at Art and have always had wonderful experiences! The majority of our visits have been painting classes for our young sons (between the ages of 5-8). We have also done a couples' painting class. Each time the instruction has been clear, developmentally appropriate, with lots of room for creativity and personal expression through the art making process and help as needed. The studio itself is fun and promotes creative and artistic play for all ages. Little artists can free play and work on their own projects and go wherever their artistic inspiration takes them. The location is convenient and central in Salem. I do wish they had regular art classes on a weekly basis through different mediums, but I'm grateful to have the opportunity to have painting classes albeit sporadically. I also miss the groupons which provided a discounted punchcard for visits (though I haven't been shopping for any discounts recently so they could be available again). I would suggest following their Facebook page to get a jump on class sign ups because sometimes they fill up and sell out quickly. The owner and her staff are very professional, knowledgable, and welcoming. We like Young at Art!
