Welcome to the gorgeous Eola Hills of the Willamette Valley! This is the place we call home—we live and work here, and it’s where our grapes thrive. We believe our vineyard tells a story and is a living history of just one of many pioneering families who have chosen to raise wine grapes in Oregon. We started small as two families: in-laws, brothers, sisters, cousins, and we are proud that Bethel Heights has stayed in the Casteel-Dudley-Webb family since our beginning in 1977. We have now welcomed grandchildren, spouses, and non-family employees to Bethel Heights. Some of us have changed roles. And some of us are stepping up in the business, taking over where our family began. Through it all, we have strived to allow our wines to show their sense of place, speak to the history of our vineyard, and tell the story of our family.

This tasting room has incredible views, even on a rainy day. They don't serve food but allow you to bring in food so we stopped by the nearby Willamette Valley Cheese Co. (also a definite stop) and sat on their patio after our tasting with...More

This was our first trip to Oregon's wine country and our first winery more than impressed us. We were greeted by Kate and she introduced us to 6 of their wines. One of our favorites was their Pinot Blanc, which was crisp and a wonderful...More

We stopped by with a large group of 11 and felt as though we were stressing them out during our visit. This contrasts dramatically to our experience at another location in the area that had a smaller staff but couldn't have been happier to see...More

We're Pinot fans and our tastes go towards old school and Willamette Valley wines. This winery is one of the best in Oregon and the staff at the winery help put it there. Kate Crowe runs the tasting room and hospitality end of things and...More

While visiting in Salem, my brother took us to his favorite vineyard. We weren't sure what to expect because our favorite vineyards in the Napa Valley are pretty special. This vineyard is located about 10 miles north west of the center of Salem. Make sure...More

We visited the bethel heights Vineyard in Salem Oregon where Rachel Adams was our hostess. She is personable and knowledgeable and the wines were outstanding. The 2012 pinot noir are hedonistic! The setting of the vineyard is lovely...it's a bit of a schlep through cherry...More

My wife and I are partial to California Pinot's so we have been searching for some earthier and meatier Oregon wines. Bethel Heights has great views, a wonderful tasting room and some really good Pinot's. You've got to go to the high end to find...More

So he doesn't normally like Pinot Noir but he loved these. Simple, but pleasant. The reserve labels are the best for sure.

We did not go into the vineyards during our visit. I would contact the winery, give them your travel plans and ask about the opportunity for a stroll through the vines. They may be able to set up a tour. It doesn't hurt to... More
