Nice trip on the river, nothing to see

This is nothing but a boat ride along the industrial area of Salem, on a ugly river. Very unsafe for the disabled, with long steep ramps, and then several steps.

Took this cruise on October 8 with a group of 20 of my fellow hospital volunteers. Had a few misgivings upon seeing one of the staff members: heavily tattooed, ponytailed, didn't look all that friendly. One other crew member looked like he was ready to go out an plow the south 40. Having said that, they were both friendly and... More

I took my 5 year old grandson on an afternoon cruise this summer and we both had a great time. The captain is terrific with children and my grandson got to "steer" the boat - it was such a treat for him! The snacks are reasonably priced.

What a great way to celebrate our anniversary -- brunch & drinks as we sailed down the Willamette River on a perfect Sunday afternoon! Being forewarned, the chef even provided gluten-free versions of their delicious menu items. The staff & captain are all so genuinely nice & focused on making this unique dining experience really memorable for everyone. The Queen... More

One of the worst meals of my life... Took my wife Valentine's Day 2015 The staff: Very polite and respectful but didn't seem to have a clue how to successfully wait tables. Appetizer: Started out with a so-so racquetball sized cheese ball accompanied by 4 ritz-like crackers and 6 grapes Drinks: We had one of the mixed drinks off of... More

Definitely not worth $48 for a Valentine's Day dinner/cruise. Captain was great, a couple of the staff were fine, the others have apparently been working there way too long.......unfriendly and lifeless with no personality. Main course was good, but that was it. Everything else was cold, stale and minimal (received 1/2 a breadstick compared to others full breadstick, which was... More

For Valentine's day my husband took me and we had fun.. learned new facts about the Willamette Queen and the area that the boat paddled around. We got honorary captain certificates, nice meal (made mine gluten free), brought us dessert, everyone from other guests to the crew where smiles and enjoying the atmosphere. We did stay in the little cove... More

Let me start by saying I love boat rides and I'm not too hard to please food wise! This Brunch Cruise was the worst in both those departments! Originally I had planned to bring visiting relatives from Florida - boy am I glad I didn't do that - what an embarrassment it would have been! I also have taken the... More

Love the atmosphere on the boat! Friendly people and really good food. Not a ton to see but it's still a pretty cruise.

We spent a pleasant hour on the water, but there's not much to see. It was good to sit down after hours of sightseeing, but the river's high banks prevent much of a view. The boat needs some upkeep and maintenance, beginning with a new coat of paint. Music was fun though -- of the period and rollicking to boot.
