This vineyard with a sense of humor occasionally veers from the norm with lables like "Grateful Red," and is known for its reasonably priced table wines. Its spicy Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay wines are aged in French oak barrels, creating an unusual intensity of flavor.

I have read some of the other reviews and couldn't disagree more about the quality of the wines. These are excellent. No, I'm not a wine aficionado - just a wine accumulator who knows what he likes. Having spent 55 years mostly on the California Central Coast, I have drunk lots of Paso Robles, Santa Ynez Valley, Napa, Sonoma, Monterey... More

Stopped by here after a hike at Silver Falls Park. They were fairly busy but we got great service and the pours were generous. Very reasonable priced. Tasting fee waived with a bottle purchase. We liked pretty much everything we tasted and will return if in the area.

Drove out of our way to get to this place. We had purchased a wine tasting "passport". The Pino Gris was drinkable however the place was filled with yellow jackets and wasps. Got chased by one these yellow jackets inside the proprietor did nothing. He was terribly grumpy and unpleasant. Went to walk out side door and noticed a shot... More

Went for a wine tasting and found the location to be spectacular. You can sit on the grounds and view the countryside from atop the ridge where the winery is. Very beautiful. The wine for purchase is very reasonable too.

Owners or managers pretty full of themselves. Cheap wine for a reason. They had pallets of sugar. Great views and a nice setting. We stopped twice, only twice. Lots of other good choices in area. I hate to post a negative review knowing how much work a winery is, but could not let these experiences be shared with others and... More

My wife and I have visited the Willamette Valley over the past five or six Memorial Day weekends and just happened by Redhawk on our first such trip. Since then, it has always been in ink on our "hit list". The staff is always very friendly and the owners, John and Betty are hospitable and eager to hear you thoughts... More

This winery is a little off the main wine route but is certainly worth a detour. While tasting the nice wine, one enjoys a panoramic view of the Willammete valley.
