Beautiful!

Such a beautifull place to walk, run or bike! Wondrous views and you take your stroll! I believe there is also a dog park too.

When we moved to Salem, one of the first things I did was find the local dog park. Minto Brown is unlike any dog park I'd ever seen. The area set aside for dogs is enormous. Acres of open land where large and small dogs can mingle. Pros and Cons: PROS: - Plenty of parking - Easy access - Huge... More

This park is one of the key features that caused us to want to move to Salem. We are avid dog lovers and love the fact that, not only is there an "off leash" area (not fenced in) but there are over 20 miles of trails at MBP. There are doggie poo bags every 1/2 or so along most trails... More

Love to go to this local gem where one section is off leash for pups. There are trails and open filed for dogs to play. Remainder of the park requires dogs to be on leash, but it is great for walking along the river and slough. Bathrooms and playground make this a family friendly park!

Great place for biking. Miles of beautiful, well maintained trails. Not many people on the trails early in the morning.

This park is one of my favorites. Miles and miles of trails with woods, river views, and open fields. I myself feel more comfortable walking with someone else though since at times it feels a bit secluded...also I've noticed sometimes they put up cougar watch signs. Soon this park will have a bridge joining it to the downtown park. This... More

Large park with emphasis on running, walking and dog exercise. Nice views of the Willamette river and sometimes seeing eagles. In the spring time there is a problem with some flooded areas. These areas get clearly marked. When the raspberries are ripe they sometimes slow the runners pace.

What a great place for walking, running, biking, playing with your dog whatever. At this time of year the smells are a real olfactory treat with the warm grass, ripe blackberries and trees. There is plenty of open space but lots of shady spots too. We found the trails well marked making it very easy to navigate. The pathways can... More
