We spent over an hour on a pleasant Sunday morning at the playground. Never saw another kid or family. Saw campers getting rousted out from the riverbank and one maintenance person changing out the trash. Might be this is considered a bad part of Roseburg but ... and this sounds like shade but it's the truth ... we didn't see a better one. Most of Roseburg has the feeling that the last person out will be shutting off the lights.

This quaint park, sits right along the beautiful South Umpqua River.
A brand new playground, bicycle and pedestrian paths.
This is the perfect spot to stop, eat lunch, let your kids play and let your dogs run.
Park includes a softball field, picnic tables, garbage cans, various benches and restrooms on site.
Please take a few minutes and explore this incredible yet small city park.

A wonderful city park with a new children's playground, ball park, walking trail and views of the Umpqua River and the back side of the Umpqua Dairy. No longer accessible through the Dairy and across the railroad tracks, it is a destination park. To reach it, one must travel Mosher St. Into the Templen Beach residential area where it is near a public boat launch and a public dog park. The park is well maintained by the city, but the rest rooms are often locked. A pavilion would perhaps improve its use, but this a less known gem in the city park system.

Whoever built this place is looking at getting the area good name as it is in the rough part of city. The idea seems to be working not well, do far.

This is a beautiful park along the South Umpqua River. It has a baseball diamond and brand new playground equipment. Or if your into exploring nature it also has a nature trail down below it to walk or bike along the river.

This is a nice park it is well kept ,has a play ground and a dog park ,very close to Templin beach park boat ramp which is better for swimming . These parks are sort of all together and can be fantastic in the summer. A nice place to stop and eat lunch.
This part of town is being " revitalized" so I would use extra caution and lock your car, which is really a good idea anywhere

I have used the park for everything from frisbee playing to softball games, to bar-b-ques!
Plenty of parking and a very nice playground for younger kids!

Great little, fenced, dog exercise area. While the grass was very thin in most areas the soil us Sandy so it isn't a mud big like most dog parks this time of year. We were also impressed how well "picked up" the area was. The local dog owners that use this park, and the City of Roseburg Parks Dept., should be congratulated for their work.

I took my girls here one afternoon a while back and was impressed with the new play structure. My girls like a good swing and it was a cool one. There are two areas of play equipment for littler kids(under 5) and then a larger one for older kids. Like other reviewers mentioned there is quite a bit here. I just figured I'd focus on the play structure variety. There isn't a lot but what is there is clean, new, and fun for kids!
