There does not appear to be many hikes in or very near Roseburg. Lucky they have this park. We walked the entire park, a little over 3 miles. It was clean and contained a great nature area.

This park is the hub of summer fun for local families. It offers just about everything you'd want in a park. There's a very nice play structure that accommodates all ages, a train engine for kids to play in, walking paths, covered pavilions with picnic tables, a band shell for outdoor concerts, and it's right on the river. Stay on path, keep your dog/kids on a leash, good in small doses. Has a decent sized homeless population.

Excellent family park... gorgeous baseball field next door... park is large and their are grassy areas on both sides of the river... treat walking paths... kids seem to love the train
