Relaxing place to take a Walk
Oct 2020
There does not appear to be many hikes in or very near Roseburg. Lucky they have this park. We walked the entire park, a little over 3 miles. It was clean and contained a great nature area.

Nice play area
Mar 2020 • Family
This park is the hub of summer fun for local families. It offers just about everything you'd want in a park. There's a very nice play structure that accommodates all ages, a train engine for kids to play in, walking paths, covered pavilions with picnic tables, a band shell for outdoor concerts, and it's right on the river. It also borders a disc golf course.

Stay on Path

Stay on path, keep your dog/kids on a leash, good in small doses. Has a decent sized homeless population.

Walk, run, bike, birdwatch!

Well-planned big park with great trails long (2.5+ mile) and short (.5) for every need and speed. Playgrounds and music venue right on the Umpqua River. Big pond with ducks and geese and offspring in spring. Fred Meyer nearby for liquid relief.

Great place for kids to play, nice walking path, summer concerts on the river. Good place for picnics or use the pavilion for large groups.

Great little park
Jun 2019 • Family
This has been a popular spot in Roseburg for many years. It’s located next to the YMCA off Harvard Avenue. There’s a pavilion for events, halfshell dome over a stage for music in the park, great updated playground with slides, forts, swings, etc and it’s right on the river if you want to take a stroll with a river view. They have public restrooms and a short drive from the playground is a nice disk-golf course. My daughter and I sat and played in the shaded grass and had a picnic lunch while my wild toddler ran out some energy with other kids on the playground.

Lots of Variety

Beautiful park right by the Umpqua River includes a playground, an old locomotive for climbing on, at least three different walking paths and a decently clean bathroom. Oh, and even more importantly, parking spaces. I would recommend checking this out.

Many splendored locale
Aug 2018 • Family
The park has a little of everything, for children, sports enthusiasts and anyone loving beautiful scenery.. A river runs thru it, literally and everything seems so well maintained tho lots of use...YMCA is close by but is large enough to find space by yourself, if you so choose...Recommend it all times of the year, but spring and summer especially...Enjoy
