We visited in a Saturday afternoon and split a full tasting of the 8 options available. Michael took us through the tasting. He was very thorough and informative. The mead is some of the best I’ve had. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. I highly recommend new mead discoverers and seasoned mead drinkers to try Oran Mor. They exceeded out expectations and we bought almost one of each bottle available. Their descriptions are spot on and they have shipping options available if you’re not local.

We actually met the owner a few months before she opened. She was excited to open and knowledgeable about her products. Mead has an ancient and interesting history. The Meadery now has live music and food. You have to check out this place.

We actually met the owners at a wine tasting before they officially opened up Oran Mor. They were so interesting as they described the challenges of opening up this business. We have been here a couple of times now. We enjoyed open mic night with a couple varieties of mead. What a unique taste. The owners continue to change and update their business. It has so much potential to grow. We will be back.

We're delighted we found this place! It offers something a little bit different from the numerous wineries in the area. We had never really had mead before, so opted for the mead tasting, which was excellent. The owner (Lily) is extremely knowledgeable and friendly , and explained the process for making mead and what made each of them different. We also did a honey tasting; I'd never realized how different various types of honeys could taste, but it really was remarkable to compare them. I wish we were in Roseburg for longer, as I'd definitely like to come back for some of their live music. The space is very cozy and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone spending time in the Roseburg area, as it's a unique offering you won't soon forget.

Oran Mor makes mead, or to the layman, honey wine. There facility is in a cool old barn across Melrose Rd. From Kruse farms. They do an excellent job of combining local honeys and fruits to produce some truly interesting and delicious meads. Definitely worth a stop to taste.

I ran across this place as I was touring my old stomping grounds...saw the OPEN banner and decided to check it out...SO glad I did! Lilly was very friendly, welcoming and informed. I sampled the half flight - a little red wine and three different meads. I actually liked them all but limited myself to a bottle of wine and a bottle of mead. Looking forward to sharing my find!!

My husband and I were thrilled to find a new place to enjoy some local brews- beer, cider, and MEAD! And they are kid friendly with a toy area that kept our toddler entertained while we learned about the varieties. Went home with 2 bottles!!
