Fun times

This is a nice little pit stop. Fun catching crawdads and feeding the ducks. Great for picnicking but sometimes the bathrooms don't work.

Clean family and friends park. Small wading pools for the little ones and the river is used a lot for rafting. Never gets more than waist deep. Pic-nic tables and some bar-b-ques. Large open area for activities such as volley ball, frisbee etc. No alcohol allowed. large restrooms. Can accommodate large groups. No fees for day use only. Great place... More

I've been going here for years. It was better when there wasn't so many people. But times change. Use to take the kids swimming here and now you really can't get there. There is a white goose that is a must see. He will eat right out of your hand. So bring a little something for him when you go.... More

A lovely small tree shaded spot on the banks of the Deschutes River. Picnic tables and placid pools suitable for toddlers to wade in. Following the path north along the banks takes one to the falls themselves . This is not where put little ones in the water but competent swimmers can enjoy the upstream pools.

This is a pleasant picnic area with access to the beautiful Deschutes River. The sign in the park indicates that you can get to the falls by walking along the river and under the bridge. Perhaps that was possible at some time, but there is no path now. The Falls can be accessed by parking on the other side of... More

Coming west on 126 pull off to the right before the bridge and go downstream. There's an old road you can follow for a quarter mile the falls is by some old historic buildings along the river.

This is one of my favorite places. It has become very crowded on weekends over the years, get there early if you want a good spot near the water. Don't forget to float the river!

Was a nice place to go for a leisurely walk. We went with grade school aged children and they enjoyed it. We walked towards Cline Falls and out and back took about 30 minutes.

The falls are very close to resort, well marked and easy to find. We were there in winter, and it was nice...want to see it in summer too. It is worth the time to take a look while there.

This small park along the Deschutes River is just west of Redmond and near Eagle Crest Resort. Depending on when you visit it can either be full of families with teens and children or you can have the place to yourself. It's an okay place to picnic with sufficient parking. The hike along the river is ok not impressive but... More
