Wonderful walk
Sep 2020
The trail from the dedicated parking lot to Pearsony Falls is clearly marked over some slightly hilly terrain and extends to the giant boulders overlook. Very well worth an hour or so of time as it is very peaceful with little foot traffic.

A quick morning walk
Aug 2020 • Family
The hostess at Crater Lake RV park told us not to miss this and I'm so glad she told us about these falls. They were definitely worth the short walk on our way out of town!

pretty falls / cool on a summer day
Jun 2020
Just down the road from Mill Creek Falls so worth a stop if you are visiting MC. It's about half mile hike from the parking lot to the falls. Not a tall dramatic falls but instead a spread out falls over mossy boulders with rushing water. The trail comes right to the edge of the creek so you are up close with the falls and the spray in the air makes this a very cool spot--especially nice on a hot day. Pretty falls and a good addition if visiting Mill Creek/Barr falls.

Easy short hike right in Prospect.
Sep 2019
A nice easy walk and a hidden gem in prospect. The trail head is very close to the town store. Just ask the clerk if you can't find the parking lot.

Right there at the Prospect Hotel and Roadhouse
Aug 2019
Incorporate this into a walk to other falls, right out your door at the Prospect Roadhouse. The roadhouse will give you a sheet with some walks you can do right out your door.

One of my favorite waterfalls in Prospect/Crater Lake area
Apr 2019 • Family
You'll find the trail head (1/2 mile off of Hwy 62) across from the Prospect gas station/country market. It's a short hike down and then you can walk along the pretty falls up close and enjoy the rushing water as it falls down the winding path. It's a must-see if you like waterfalls.

Beautiful little waterfall amidst lots of greenery
Aug 2018 • Family
We visited Pearsony Falls right after seeing nearby Mill Creek Falls. The trailhead area isn't very obviously well marked - it's on the same road (Mill Creek Drive) as the better marked Mill Creek Falls, but about half a mile to the north, not far after the road crosses a bridge over the Rogue River.

The parking area was very nice -plenty of room, with a pit toilet at one end. The trail to Pearsony Falls heads right past the toilet area, then a small picnic table, and on downward. The first short way is paved, but then it becomes a dirt trail.

There is one sign pointing the way towards the falls, but when you get to them there's no signage, you could almost walk right by without noticing if you aren't looking off to the left side. The falls are not very tall, but they are wide and quite beautiful with all of the greenery around them.

We were able to carefully walk down and get quite close to the small pool at the bottom of the falls. The entire hike down to the falls and then back up was about half a mile, and although there was some elevation change, it wasn't too strenuous.

The trail continues on past the falls, I think eventually to an overlook over Mill Creek and the Avenue of Boulders, but we stopped at Pearsony and returned back to our car.

Short Walk with Open View
Jul 2018 • Family
Down a steep, but short, hill you continue on a short path toward the view of the falls. Viewpoints are across the gorge from the falls, though I hear there are ways to hike nearer on the other side. Easy walk for all ages.

Nice Walk & Pretty Falls
Jun 2018
We visited the local Falls in Prospect and Pearsony was the last of the day. We enjoyed a quick little walk on a nice trail. They are very small falls, but they are whimsical and pretty.

Beautiful Views of the Area
Aug 2017 • Couples
We were traveling the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway and stopping at most view points. Pearsony Falls was especially unique as we had to drive off road for about a mile and when we arrived, it was breath taking. It was hard to find the access road as it isn't marked, but we managed. Just outside of Prospect.
