I arrived solo on a Sunday afternoon for a beer and a soft pretzel. When I left, I felt like the bartender was my new best friend. She was so friendly and chatty, and it’s always nice to have someone to talk to when you’re...More

For starters, we happened upon this place, as it was adjoined to a hidden gem of a tamale restaurant! While we waited for our food to be brought to our table, my wife and I tried the beer. I had the Dark Norsement, Baltic Porter...More

Here's a terrific spot in old North Portland. There's a cart like Mexican restaurant next door. Labrewatory fits well into the neighborhood well with a nod to old wood, and modern steel manufactured just down the block. Worth a drop by for certain.

There are better breweries. Service was nothing special, and the system of ordering food from the neighbouring restaurant is archaic. The IPA was disappointing. If you have a Groupon, check it out. Otherwise, this is not worth the special trip into an industrial area.

Loved this place! So sad they don't mass produce. They're a restaurant adjoined and they bring food over. Beer is really good, many sours and ipas and experimental beers.

We bought a Groupon for a beer tasting, pretzel, and crowler. We went on a Sunday night and it was slow, only one other table in the place. Granted, it was an hour before closing (and a Sunday). They had just run out of pretzels...More

Heading to Widmer but thought i would try this new brewery. Not going to get your standard brews here. Every beer was something wild, thus the name LAB. Worth a flight to try some. Nice bar and friendly barmaid.

I travel a lot for business, and in every city I visit I do my best to try the local breweries. My last trip to Portland truly surprised me. I visited The Labrewatory looking for a cold beer and a good chat with the locals....More

If you're looking for something truly unique try this new hidden gem on N. Russell just a few blocks up from Widmer Brothers brewery. For the beer aficionados there are some wild concoctions on the board, with a heavy influence on local, premium ingredients. As...More
