A very memorable and entertaining hour! The room had some fun surprises that delighted parents and kids alike, and the difficulty was appropriate for the novices and experienced puzzlers in our group. Highly recommend the Portlandia room!

We did the prison heist room for my son’s 11th birthday (6 kids and 2 adults). You can work out multiple puzzles at the same time. It was a blast. Everyone had so much fun. The theme was executed perfectly and our Game Master MADD was a perfect host and gave just the right hints to keep us going. We had a last minute schedule change and the staff was very quick to get back to us and extremely friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this place. Well definitely be back.

It was my adult son and I's first time ever in an escape room and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was tougher than I had anticipated, but the helpful person at the front desk was great with their hints. It was difficult for me to see due to the low light and small numbers on the combinations to be opened. I would recommend having more than two people in the room so as to complete on time.

Signed up for Amnesia, and heard from the GM that it was their hardest room. Our group of 6 had a blast, and managed to escape with seconds to spare, thanks to the help of our wonderful GM, Zach! Escape Rooms PDX, Amnesia Room: + excellently hosted, well designed, challenging.

Always a fantastic experience, the Amnesia room was one of the most fun (and most challenging) rooms I've ever been a part of Mads was also super helpful, and super kind. I made a mistake with the time, and she was very forgiving and we did not feel rushed like I would expect with such a mistake. Thank you Mads!

This was my second time trying to tackle the Portlandia room. We didn't escape the last time, but this time, even though there was 3 of us, we managed to escape. My 15 year old daughter said it was full of exactly the puzzle she likes - lots of locks and different kinds of puzzles to work out. We've done about a dozen escape rooms over the years and this was didn't disappoint for the complexity or silly story line and reveals. Eli, our game master, gave us great hints and we had lots of fun. This room isn't a scary one at all - something to note for those looking for that.

Wow wow wow wow. What an incredible experience. A bit over a year ago my partner and I went to the Attic and loved it so much we booked for the Portlandia room. The minute we were able to get back to Portland, Escape Games PDX was our very first pick. We did Film Noir and man oh man, what an incredible experience, made only better by our fantastic Game Master, Maverick. Such incredible and ingenuitive puzzles, incredible setting and— I cannot emphasize enough— an incredible Game Master. So good we booked for Amnesia for the next day. Best birthday ever, best GM ever, best rooms ever— and my partner and I have played a LOT of games (and are game masters ourselves). My top pick for absolute sure. What a fabulous experience. Book these rooms, I suggest Film Noir over their other rooms personally.

Our family of 4 adults, 60ish parents, 30ish kids, did the "Hour Before Christmas" with Maverick as our Game Master. She was a great explainer, hint giver (we asked for 2) and all around friendly and helpful host. The escape room had 12 puzzles all Christmas themed and they were very doable. In retrospect, we should have been patient and not asked for the clues as we finished with more than enough time. The theming, decorations were just perfect and lots of fun. Parking and access to the building is easy and we will definitely come again to finish up our discounted gift certificate which we purchased for ourselves!
