Our expert local guides will take you past the modern identity of Portland back to a more dangerous era, where murders, kidnappings, and organized crime could be found behind most of the elegant storefronts of the city. Listen to stories taken straight out of the true history of the last 150 years, and watch for yourself as the spirits of the past can still be seen today.

The website notes it's $12 dollars an hour per person and it's actually $16. Coffee was poor. The staff was nice and seemed to really care for the cats. Cat area was really clean, well stocked for the cats. Not sure I would go back due to the price.

My 11 year old son and I enjoyed our hour at Purrington's. We went solely for the cat interaction, not for the drinks. We did get some water. We weren't looking to adopt, but we would have been tempted if we were. You do have to have a reservation, but we were prepared because we researched before we went. We'd recommend!

Cute cats. About five were ready for play. Others were hiding in the human-free zone for our visit. Go for the felines, not the refreshments. Hostesses really loved the cats ...and customers . Very friendly.

I think some people go in here with the wrong expectations. I went in and was hoping to pet cats, but you need a reservation because they don't want too many people in the room with cats. Very FAIR. So I ordered tea and watched other people play with the cats inside the cat room. Was still a really enjoyable experience! I chatted a bit with a friendly staff member and drank my tea. Next time I go, I'll make a reservation to pet kitties.
