Our tour was of the Columbia gourge/Mt.Hood area. We saw so much in one day, but never seemed rushed or felt as if we were missing something. Jeff was a great tour guide. He did a great job of telling us about all we were seeing and obviously cared for the area and was very knowledgeable. He was able to... More

Jeff Davies was our guide and WOW!! How informative! He's an ecologist with an amazing knowledge and passion for the area. He even handed out maps and photos of different things explaining their meaning. We even got to hear music of one of the musicians singing about the area. I've never seen/heard that before:>). What a trip to the Columbia... More

Jeff, the owner (and guide) of the company picked us up at our hotels before heading north to Washington. Along the way he did a thorough and interesting job of explaining the activity and history of the 1980 eruption of Mount St Helens. We made a stop to purchase a lunch to take with us for a picnic a little... More

Every member of of the reunion group voted this the best event of their five-day visit to Portland. Jeff Davies, our guide, is very knowledgeable about the history, geography and environmental issues of the region, and provided informative, professional and thoroughly enjoyable coverage to the tour. We highly recommend the trip, especially to visitors to Portland wishing to see and... More

We took two tours in Portland with Jeff/Eco-tours. Mt. Hood and the falls, and Mt. St Helen's. Jeff is professional and friendly. He brings along lots of pictures to show while driving which are helpful and he knows lots of local stories about the area. For the Mt. St Helen's tour he had a lot of audio tapes which were... I unfortunately had similar problems as the other low reviews- Tried to schedule 2 tours- one for a whale watch and one for a wine tour. We were told right away that there would not be a whale tour to the coast, but then we were interested in the wine tour- after several conversations over several days, was assured we... More

We run an ethical business and find misleading reviews like this unfortunate. When Rita called we told her about our minimum guest count requirement of four for the wine tour. We also said another group of two had requested the tour and as soon as we could get in touch with the other group we would get back in touch... More

This was one of the best tours we've been on. The guide, Jeff Davies, had a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding volcanos and earth quake activity which made the tour even more interesting. The tour was very reasonable, very punctual and a lot of fun!

Our guide, Jeff Davies, was excellent: Well-prepared and informative. Good-natured but effective on accommodating our needs but keeping us on track. We could not have found such interesting sites as the fish ladders at the Bonneville Dam, viewing the Pacific Crest Trail, as well as the "usual" wonderful sights along the way. Really efficient way to "see it all" in... More

We had a wonderful day on this tour, visiting spectacular waterfalls, fabulous overlooks, and lush old-growth forests. Watching salmon counting at Bonneville Dam and visiting Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood were other interesting stops on the tour. There was time for short hikes at waterfalls, and for lunch-with-a-view at scenic Hood River Valley. Our guide, Jeff, had spent considerable time... Our post river cruise tour of Mount St. Helens turned out to be one of the best days of our trip. Our tour guide, Jeff Davies, developed the tour and was very informative and interesting. He even took telescopes so that we were able to see more detail and wildlife. Highly recommend this tour.
