The tram is an inexpensive way to get some fantastic views of downtown and beyond, but can be unsettling as it sways and bounces along its way.

I work at Oregon Health & Science University and have all during the construction of the tram. It is such a functional yet fun experience. I do think the return price up the hill for visitors ($4) is too steep for a 3 minute ride, but if you consider that coming down is free so the round trip is $4,... More

this tram is a fun thing to do with tourists, despite being a functional part of our local transit system. Check out the OHSU art collection at the top of the "ride".

Brought our Canadian friends for a view of the city and surrounding mountains. Was a bit hazy (frigid temps) sadly. But they know they will be back and we will go in the summer time. Had planned to walk to the Tilikum but it was too cold. They do have "overhead heaters" in part of the waiting area. No heat... More

This tram provides a quiet and breathtaking view of the city and on a sunny day, you can see Mount Hood. At the base you can enjoy the great selection of some of Portland's best food trucks!

This is a wonderful way to see a different view of the city. Then venture into the Hospital and take in the incredible collection of art inside and in the garden. Stop for a pot of tea and savor the view.

I have been on trams all over the country and find that each has its own uniqueness. What I love about this tram is that it feels like you have just stepped into the future the shape of the "pods" and the smooth ride all make the sci-fi nerd in me very happy. And if you are just looking for... More

I use the tram to get to the VA hospital and always look forward to an appointment just so I can ride the tram. Great fun.

Views lovely from the top. Part of a huge OHSU complex. Very impressive. Not much too it but if you're into vistas this is for you. At the top go into the hospital and turn right onto the outside deck for better views.
