Decent wine, unwelcoming service.

I walked in and enjoyed the look of the place, the wine menu was appealing. But honestly, I have given this spot 2 chances and I give up. The person behind the counter (same... read more

You would think that the bartenders at this establishment would be interested in sharing information about Oregon wines. I would love to write that their enthusiasm was contagious- unfortunately when we visited there was only one other table of locals in the store but we had to flag down the bartender. We ordered two different flights which she poured as... More

This place has an interesting list of wines to choose from (hence the "2" rating instead of a "1"), but the service was a tremendous disappointment. We were ignored when we went in, and once we were able to find a seat one of the wait staff asked what we felt like having. We told her we were visiting from... More

Great little place to have a glass of good wine and a snack to round out a day in the big city. Staff was friendly and gave great recommendations.

This place has become a staple when I visit PDX. Great flights of Oregon pinots and other local wines - and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

We went in for a tasting one afternoon during the week. It was not very crowded, and we found both the wines and the service to be wonderful. They took the time to help us find the wines we like, and they were not pretentious about the wine at all. They even gave us some great dining suggestions as well.

Our wine tour guide recommended this place when we asked for a good place for wine by the glass. We ended up staying for more than two hours because the combination of their selection of wine and the friendly girl working that day made for such a cool experience. The reviewer who mentioned this is a mix of locals and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the various OR wine options at this wine bar. The staff was super accommodating and made great suggestions for our taste that evening. We were visiting from out of town and made it a stop each evening before our dinner out in Portland. Can't wait to come back the next time we are in town.

I walked in and enjoyed the look of the place, the wine menu was appealing. But honestly, I have given this spot 2 chances and I give up. The person behind the counter (same person both times) was unwelcoming, and unattentive. The wine selection was decent, but don't expect to be guided into a glass of wine that best suits... More

This is a highly unique joint that is a cross between Cheers (so many of the customers are locals who know each other and know the staff) and tourists (it's smack in the middle of downtown across the street from Marriott). Give the women who run this place a chance b/c they are all really nice underneath their tough appearances.... More

They have an enormous selection of Pinot Noirs and clever premium flights. If you cannot make it out to the Williamette Valley and want an quick immersion in Oregon Pinot Noirs, this is your stop.
