Even though it’s February, we were able to have Happy Hour by a fire outside. I had “Death in the Afternoon,” an Absinthe drink for $5 and my friend had “Mississippi Punch,” which was good. Food wasn’t unusual, but olives and a quesadilla were also nice additions.

Fried pickled pig ears, lamb heart with Romesco, and a delicious piece of raw venison.

Servers are totally knowledgeable and charming, beers are great, and it’s on a great neighborhood setting.

We keep coming back for the food, drinks and patio, especially when everything else is closed! If you're bringing your dog, walk around to the back entrance.

Stopped here on my first night in Portland. Got in late and was looking for something to eat near where we were staying. It was just what we were looking for! Great drinks and amazing food. I odered a pork belly sandwhich with their hour made BBQ which I would buy by the bottle if they sold it. Had crab and smoked trout cakes which were delicious and tasted fresh.
