Cool place for Craft Beer
Sep 2019 • Couples
So many options so little time. A very good selection of local craft beers. Nice corner location in downtown Portland. My wife and I had a few before walking back to our hotel. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Good range

Good range of beers. Not to crowded. Only downside was the bar snack options. Would come back if I was in town.

Every kind of beer you could possibly want
Jul 2017 • Friends
This is a Portland classic - obviously great for beer lovers, but also for non-lovers or people who don;t really know beer. Great place to explore and find things you had no idea you would like. Staff is helpful if you want recommendations. The tasting trays are a great way to explore. Not too many seats and it can get crowded so try to get there early and have one person in your party save a table, especially on a nice day when you want to sit outside. A very friendly place. Great for exploring beers with friends, so everyone can taste everything and then you can assign favorites. They don't serve food but you're welcome to bring your own.

Friendly Bartender and Decent Selection
Mar 2016 • Couples
Stopped by for a couple beers on a rainy afternoon. Had 20 or so craft beers on tap with a good sampling of different beer styles. I had a brown IPA and a porter while my girlfriend had a sour wit and a mandarin ale of some sort.

Pour Me Another!
Apr 2015 • Friends
Bailey's is one of my favorite downtown PDX bars, and let me tell you why. The selection of beers at this place is phenomenal. There are over twenty draft beers, with a digital board at the front of the bar indicating information about type, brewery and flavor. And you can tell when your beer of choice is about to run out because there are battery symbols next to each beer on the board showing how much is left in the keg. The beers themselves are excellent, with a high amount of both craft and local beers. The bartenders and chill and knowledgeable, and will readily pour you a sample of a beer you might be thinking of trying. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable (and they have board games in one of the corners) and a small patio to enjoy that great summer weather when it gets here. Seriously, this bar is so excellent, make sure to check it out

beer lover's paradise

Portland has the best beer on the planet. I have literally tried every beer made in or imported into this country and Bailey's always has something new, everyday. New breweries come online in Portland or the rest of the country weekly and Bailey's keeps up with it all. You will never get bored with beer there. It is centrally located downtown close to shopping and multiple food sources from high end restaurants to foodcarts. It is always packed because beer people know a good thing. There is a digital menu on the wall telling you all about each beer and prices are good. I go there at least once a week and always find something new to try.
If you like beer you will love Bailey's Taproom on Broadway and Ankeny.

RUDE!
Asked about equivalent beers from my local taproom..first laughed and walked away. Then I asked about a different one and they told me we were in the wrong place and walked away. There are plenty of beer places in Portland...they wont get my money!
