One of my favorite places to visit. If you like a retro, nostalgic feeling this is the place to go. A local dairy with handmade frontier town including an old fashioned theater.

My grandchildren and I visited Dairyville and Story Book Lane this Christmas. I had gone when I was a little girl and had fond memories. It did not disappoint. There's an Oprah House that was hosting a local dance group's Nutcracker Ballet. So cute. Also,...More

I love this place. It has not changed it's quality in my lifetime. I went there as a kid now I am in my 60's. It is still the same quality. The ice cream is the best! Shairi Edwards

Lots of points for all they have done for kids to help them learn about cows, milk, dairies, etc. Used to take the kids there and they love it.

Thanks to Alpenrose Dairy, this special place continues even as Portland has grown and developed around it. Each summer, the velodrome, little league fields and quarter midget car track come alive with riders, players, drivers and fans. When I visited last year, the 'Dairyville' miniature...More
