Unique Place

This place is not what you expect. It's awesome and the food is really good. It took me back to when I was in Elementary, but without all the drinks.

We were extremely interested in the concept of The Kennedy School, but from the moment we walked in the door, it felt like a "zoo". Wherever we went it seemed frenetic; there are lots of different spaces, and lots of queues. It's clearly a hugely popular weekend destination for families and big groups. We made a quick escape.

I am very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your visit. Weekends and evenings can be quite busy but we don't like to hear that it wasn't comfortable and fun. If you ever get by this way again, the feel of the school can be much more relaxed and less zoo like mid week and in the mornings. We... More

So many different things to do here in this renovated school. Have drinks in detention, or down the hall at the honor bar. There is a soaking pool as well as a restaurant. Bartenders are knowledgeable and fun.

I choose the Kennedy School to have my retirement party because I had attended a friend's retirement party there and they did a great job. My party was on a Friday night and we had 8 of us staying is 5 rooms for the night. We arrived early to beat the traffic and hung out in the Courtyard Restaurant for... More

So much to do here. We had a quick bite to eat from the theatre snack bar, drinks in the boiler bar, and I enjoyed a cigar in the cigar bar. Drinks were great and the atmosphere was awesome. Wish we had more time to spend on our visit here. One word of caution, if you want to use the... More

Have visited for several years, now a new annex. Best rooms past the theater, but now seem reserved for long term. Staff always friendly

Very unique place - love all the themed bars around the school. The best is the detention bar - very intimate but does smell like cigars since it is a cigar lounge and bar. The boiler room bar is pretty cool too!

We toured nearly the entire school. We stopped in the Honors room, Detention, Principals Office, the Boiler Room and the Garden Room. Love the themes, love the happy hour. What a cool concept! We will definitely go back.

The Kennedy School hosted a J R R Tolkien birthday bash. Located in an old school it has six bars, a theater, a large hot soaking pool, hotel, gift shop and a restaurant. The micro beers are great, the food was themed for the even and spot on perfect.

Excellent place to unwind and relax. The food is always above par and the soaking pool is divine. Love to be able to wander and explore with drink in hand, and wake up to some of the best coffee around. If not having a bathroom in your room is bothersome, these are not your style. If you can live with... More
