Our first visit and we enjoyed it! What a great idea to have a Cafe for us old guys to indulge! Very well organized and good, clean facilities (if you know what I mean 🤓) Look for street parking

I am so glad that I found my way to Monticello Antiques on a recent trip to Portland. It is so well curated and the items in each stall are a joy to look at. I was able to find two small treasures that could fit in my carry-on suitcase. If I visit again, I will bring an empty suitcase to fill!!
I used public transportation and this shop is on a convenient bus route.

If you like antiques or just like to browse among them, this is a wonderful store to visit. It is brimming with every kind of antique you could desire. Prices were not bad. It is nicely set up, personnel were pleasant & there's even a cafe to have a snack.

If you're an antique or collectible enthusiast, you'll need a couple of hours to go through here. The place is full of fabulous finds that are not junk yet don't blow up your wallet. I love that they have a coffee shop/restaurant/bar. You can even sip a mimosa while shopping! Extremely friendly staff make this place worth the drive from the Northwest worthwhile.

This is such an interesting antique and vintage store. There are some new ‘old’ items, too. We have been here a few times now and especially enjoy the garden items. They have everything from vintage garden chairs to French-style wire plant etegeres. They have old lighting, Vaseline glass, furniture and so forth, too. It really is a fun place to browse and think of how to creatively use your ‘finds’. Definitely worth a trip.

With so many antique malls and shops going out of business, it's great to find a thriving mall with high quality REAL antiques (i.e not thrift store items). Prices at many booths are quite reasonable too.
The cafe is also a pleasure to visit, with well made coffees and tasty baked items (I've never had any of their kitchen items but they look great too!). Seating is cozy and comfortable.

I haven;'t been here since last summer and just had the urge to go look for something special for a birthday. And boy did I find it. As soon as I saw this Art Deco Antelope I just had to buy it ASAP.
I ciirceled around all the antiques several time to see all that they had that caught my eye. before I narrowed it down to the one item I wanted the most for this visit. And there were quite a few for sure. I saw a classic Coca-cola serving tray. and even a 1959 Royal Daulton Jug of Merlin and an owl. I will have to go back for that for sure. It will make for a great accent piece on my book shelf holding all my stage magic books. Or perhaps with my collection of Michael Morcock fantasy novels. I am so amazed by what you can find here.
Yes, this is truly a great place to go and explore what gems they have tucked away inside for you to discover.
They also have a Cafe where you can eat. There used to be a small video poker room, but that is now gone. The main focus is antiques anyway. And the prices seem to be very reasonable. So you don't have to win a big jackpot to pay for your great discoveries. You just need to take your time and see all they have to offer.
looks like they are having a Store Wide Expo sale March 1-4th. I'll have to make sure I drop in again at that time to see what else I might end up taking home with me.

I found this to be the highest quality antique mall in Portland, generally reasonable prices. Their specialty seems to be furniture, but they have everything else too. There is a nice café attached. I was amazing that a lot of the merchandise is NOT under glass, so they are more trusting of their customers than I've seen in other cities, which is encouraging and I suppose an indication that Portland doesn't have a shoplifting problem as in other cities. Nice place!

I have never actually noticed this place before and drive down SE Stark all the time. It was went I happened to walk down the Stark street that I saw Monti's Cafe attached to Monticello Antique Marketplace. Just after it had closed for the day. So I decided to come back and am glad that I did.
The Cafe has some nice snacks and drinks. They also have a seclude video poker room with about five machines. and an ATM standing near the swinging saloon doors. Should you require a wee bit more money for your antique shopping needs. I loved the retro art the cafe uses on their menu and around their counter and wall boards.
I strolled around and saw many type of things that I would expect to see like Jewellery, silver, fancy plates, old camera, pictures, figurines, lamps, and porcelain items. and lots of what I refer to as other people's junk. Yeah, I don't do this kind of browsing very often. But it is that Cafe attached that added to my interest to check the place out.
I found a couple items of interest like an old oval convex picture of a Holland Windmill and the most unique lamp I have seen that would be a great item for a Benny Goodman fan-- a Clarinet Lamp. Now that is way cool. Was a bit higher priced than I would want to pay for it. Though I will make a note of it should the urge overcome me later on.
I ended up buying an old Coca-Cola tray. It looked like a classic and was in great shape. When I saw that it was priced at $10 I snatched it up straight away. I couldn't believe that it was priced so low. Or that somebody else hadn't bought it before me.
So this item made my visit yesterday well worth stopping to check them out.

I've come to this place for the last several years and it has never disappointed. They offer different booths with antiques and other unique finds. I've purchased a number of items over the years and most recently found a great piece of jewelry. I love the seasonal shows that they do: spring and Christmas are my favorites. The use the back area for special buys during the seasonal shows.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. There's a great cafe in the front and you can have a mimosa while you browse. They also have excellent pastries and coffee too.
If you like antiques, you must check this place out!
