Besides being partly a thrill ride, the history learned from going down The Willamette river is fascinating. The ride is about two hours and you will not be bored. You will get wet however, and that is part of the fun.

Thanks for your kind words and 5 star review but I think you're reviewing the Willamette Jet Boat based on your comments. My 1939 Chris Craft is far from a thrill ride and folks typically don't get wet on our tours. Glad you had a good time on the river though!! Give us a try next time for a different... More

This was a great way to get a different perspective on the city. We've been to Portland several times, but had never done any boating. The small boat makes it more personal and Seth's historical knowledge gives a real feel for Portland's story. It was very enjoyable.

I too my 9 year old grandson. Captain Seth was wonderful with him. I especially enjoyed our tour of Ross Island, and getting inside the lagoon created by pulling out gravel. Already signed up for another trip in a couple of weeks!

If you want to see a side of Portland from the water with interesting facts and beautiful scenery, this is the tour! Captain Seth was great with communication prior and after the trip and gave a wonderful narrated tour throughout the trip about Portland, it's history, and a little about it's future. The boat was pristine and we were treated... More

We had a really great boat ride. The captain knows tons about Portland history, the Willamette river & all of the bridges. There is no reason to pack into one of the big boats like sardines...when you can have your own personal tour for a reasonable price!!
