About
We offer the most popular and widest variety of scheduled tours in the Portland area. We operate our tours with no minimum guest count. You can be assured that if you have a reservation the tour will operate. Our 4.5-hour Multnomah Falls & Columbia River Gorge tour is via deluxe motorcoach, not a confined van used by other Portland operators. Our Portland Hop-On Hop-Off Pink Trolley Tour on our open-air trolleys is available with a 1- or 2-day pass and has 13 stops. Our Waterfall Trolley from Corbett has 10 stops along the famous waterfall corridor. Park for free without a permit in our parking lot and avoid the parking and traffic issues. The Waterfall Express provides coach transportation to and from the Waterfall Trolley from Portland and includes an all-day Waterfall Trolley pass. The Multnomah Falls Express is a narrated short 2.5-hour afternoon tour to see Multnomah Falls. Our 2023 Portland boarding location is our pink trolley sales booth at 1005 SW Main Street.

My suggestion is to do this tour first thing! We saw so many cute areas to explore...The Alphabet District, Pearl District, Rose Garden....Our tour guide/ bus driver was very good! She kept the narrative going along with the bus.
Do this tour to get a great overview of Portland! You'll be glad you did.

We enjoyed the tour in spite of the disorganized ticket sales booth. The website states that no reservation is needed. Don't believe it. The tours sell out and people are left waiting for the next departure, roughly an hour. Advance purchase tickets don't guarantee a departure time. Decent tour and a good way to see the city. Gray Line tours needs some serious improvement with sales organization.

Thank you for touring with us. On occasion we do sell out but instead of continuing to sell we limit sales at peak times to try to ensure that everyone has a seat. We have 7 to 12 departures a day in an attempt to meet our guest’s needs. We do not indicate that no reservations are needed. We do not take any reservations as it would be counter to the hop on hop off touring concept. There no hop on hop off tours in the US that we are aware of that take reservations. During peak season and popular departure times it is best to arrive a little early to ensure you have a seat.

When we visit a new place, we frequently take a Hop On/Off Tour to acquaint ourselves with the city. This was one of the best ones because the guide was extremely professional and knowledgable. We began at Pioneer Square, where we bought our tickets and boarded the trolley that took us all over Portland and included 14 stops at the major attractions. We usually prefer staying on for the entire run to avoid wait times to board again, depending upon how much time we have in the city. Highly recommend this for first-time visitors. At $34 a ticket for adults, it's a bargain if you factor in the cost of parking at each stop.

We purchased this tour through a Groupon app for the day we would be in Portland, March 27th., for 2 passengers. When we tried to call for directions on where to meet Trolley, the voice recording stated that tours don’t start until May & there are No Refunds!! Seriously!? This information was not posted in any of the ads- or I wouldn’t have wasted my money! So angry with this company, who seem to be in the business of ripping people off. While there, we also discovered that you can buy a day pass for the streetcars for $5- a much better value. If I ever go back to Portland, I will not be patronizing this Business & will warn everyone I know to steer clear of them. Expensive lesson learned!!

I am sorry but your anger should be directed at Groupon. It has been very clear in our communications with Groupon that we do nto start our Hop-On Hop-Off service until May 25th. Please contact Groupon and request a refund. We will approve it, if they ask us too.

I just took the half day tour of the Gorge and the Falls. I wad a bit skeptical due to all the negative reviews. I had a wonderful experience on this tour. Our driver was professional and courteous. He made sure to give us enough time at all the stops. We saw the Vista House, Latourell Falls, Shepperds Dell, Multnomah Falls and the Bonneville Dam. I never felt rushed and the driver was kind enough to take photos for everyone on the tour. Hopefully everyone has the same experience I did!

Wherever I go I try to do the hop on hop off to get a feel of the city. Portland’s tour was great and very informative. Very clean trolleys and ran perfectly on time. I would totally recommend.

We took the tour to get an overview of Portland after paying $14 for a
very hard to find parking space. Except for the very beautiful Washington Park area the various points along the way just didn’t have much to offer besides shops, restaurants and same-looking modern apartment buildings. Even the stories about Portland weren’t that interesting. We felt like our money and time would have been better spent by picking the places we wanted to see and paying parking fees there.

We Purchased this tour and exited at the zoo to spend a couple of hours. When ready to continue our tour, we walked towards our bus stop as the bus was approaching, we were surprised to see that the driver did not stop. She rang her bell twice to announce a stop, passed the pickup point and stopped at the stop sign, then rang her bell to leave. If we waited for the next bus, it would have been 1 more hour. We took the light rail back into town. After talking with sales lady, we receive a credit for half of the tour and an apology. But I am still upset that we never got to see the second half of the tour. This could have been a great tour of the city, but this driver failed us.

We used the trolley bus to get an orientation of where our hotel was in relation to the tourist bits of Portland and it helped a lot.

The drivers are all great fun to listen to even if they do get some facts slightly wrong (Eminem didn't go to Lincoln High School in Portland, it was Detroit).

They do keep you informed of where you are and take great care to ensure you're off safe and not left behind.

We only wish they kept running longer in the summer because finishing early evening (five-ish) loses them a lot of business.

Pretty cheap way to see the City and get some good, basic information. I wasn't overwhelmed but did enjoy it and given the price point it is absolutely worth the money. The only draw back is that if they are on a limited schedule it could an hour in between trolleys so it isn't a real efficient way to go from site to site but overall good time.

Thank you for your review. Our driver guides work hard to provide a good tour of Portland. Most of our guests find an hour is about the right time for the sights we visit.
