About
Our winemakers Kevin Ross and Bob Switzer became friends on the soccer fields of Portland, Oregon. Based upon their mutual appreciation of great red wines, Kevin and Jill Ross introduced Bob to their winemaking hobby. The wines showed promise, but our challenge was to make them better. Over the next several years we developed our winemaking skills and techniques by channeling our competitive drives, engineering talents and creativity. As our wine improved each year, we wanted more, and so did our friends! Thus Seven Bridges Winery was born. We began producing commercially wines commercially in 2008. We use labor-intensive, manual production techniques to produce our premium, flavorful red wines. Our grapes are handpicked, sorted, and crushed, then fermented in small lots. After a gentle pressing, the wines are aged in French and American oak barrels. We truly hope you enjoy this wine as much as we did making it.We adopted the name Seven Bridges to pay tribute to the spectacular bridges spanning the Willamette River some of which can be seen from our winery, located in downtown Portland, Oregon.

Good selection of red and white wines to try, something for everyone. The grapes are from eastern Oregon and Washington. Loved the Columbia Valley Cab\Sauv

Excellent Blends

Great red wines. No Pinot here, but a few nice blends. The owner is awesome and more than willing to share his knowledge of wines. A bit hard to find, but worth the drive across the Broadway Bridge to get there. Parking is available.

A great presentation

We were a party of 8 for a private wine tasting as part of an Auction Event. Marissa was our host and did a great job. She was very friendly, and quite knowledgeable about the wines and their production. As a group we all found the wines to be very good, with some being excellent. I think we all came away with a few bottles of wine and a promise to return. The wines are only available at the winery but I would strongly recommend visiting this establishment.

Great Friendly Winery
Aug 2019 • Couples
We spent a lovely few hours here sampling their wines and chatting to the lovely sales lady. It was 15$ for a tasting of 8 wines which is waved if you buy at least two bottles. Plus they even allowed us to split the tasting glass (as eight tasting glasses is quite a lot for me on an empty stomach). Nice relaxed atompsphere to spend the afternoon in.

Great range of reds plus a sparkling Rose and a Chardonnay. We even found a wine that my husband and I agreed on which is a first!

I popped in here randomly a couple months ago, and the wine is DELISH! Great price point for the quality of wine they produce- all Walla Walla or Columbia valley grapes. Truly delightful & a convenient wine club to belong to!
Open on weekends - won't be disappointed!

So GOOD---find this place and taste!
May 2014 • Solo
I tried Seven Bridges for the first time last summer. It was love at first sip. The wines are fantastic. Big reds, just like I want. I joined the wine club on the spot. They are tucked into an industrial area off Interstate Ave.......drive down and find them. Its so worth it.
Hours are limited so check their website for times. The events they hold are fun, with tasty bites to munch on. Can't wait for the next one.

hard to get to, but a great urban winery
May 2014 • Friends
We stopped by Seven Bridges on our urban wine tour in Portland. It is kind of hard to find in the middle of an industrial area near the river and by the railroad tracks. The tasting are is in a part of their wine making operation. The lady at the tasting room was very knowledgeable and friendly. We also got a quick tour of their operation. They make big red varietals. We tasted the Sangiovese, a cab/malbec blend called Equilibrium and a malbec reserve. The Equilibrium and the Malbec were excellent. They get their grapes from Walla Walla and Yakima in Washington. We very much liked our visit there and if you can find it, it is worth the trip.

Urban Winery - BIG Delicious Red Wines!
Jun 2013 • Solo
I had an opportunity to taste Seven Bridges wines at a local wine event recently. I am not sure how this place has been off my radar?! Out of the 60+ wines at the event, these were my favorite. I also visited their tasting room yesterday and ended up joining their wine club.

Although I live in the heart of Pinot Noir country, I prefer bigger reds. These are some of the best I have tasted in Oregon. The grapes are sourced from further east in Walla Walla and a few other places.

They have a tasting room very close to downtown Portland so if you are in the area and want to try some great wines, this would be the perfect spot to taste them!
