My wife and girls had a college visit planned for one of vacation days in Portland, so my 12-year-old son and I bused to Wunderland. For 20 bucks, we had a great time for more than 2 hours. Most of the games are skill/chance ticket-winning games, but we played lots of air hockey, too. When we turned in the tickets, our prizes were ones my son actually wanted and good enough that they might have cost the full 20 bucks at Target or WalMart. This place is the value you wish Chuck E. Cheese etc. was.

We stumbled across this place during a long stroll through Belmont and it was so fun we just couldn't leave. We played games forever and gave all our tickets to some kids, then ended up staying for an extremely cheap movie. What a treasure!!

Old school amusement fun! The XD Dark Ride (Gigamon) was enjoyed by our whole family including parents and a 22 and 19 year old!

we had a birthday party at the Milwaukee location this weekend. I'm very disappointed with our entire experience. I called for over a week and left messages to confirm party didn't receive call back till day before, when we arrived at scheduled time tables weren't even put together we had push them all together, Dale tried to charge me $50 more saying the price on invoice I received didn't include as many nickels as I was getting said he knows how to do his job he's been doing it for many years. After 20 min into our party time he finally came up with same total as invoice.
I was told if all guest didn't come we'd get refunded for difference in price when I tried to get refund Dale said that just changes everything (slamming hands on counter) "I'm going to have to change a bunch of numbers and refigure the whole thing so you're just gonna have to wait a while" I never received $ for difference in guest. He also attempted to charge us entry fee for loading Birthday gifts into car. This was definitely the worst experience we've ever had. I am highly disappointed. I would still like my refund and someone to contact me.

We love the Wunderland movie theater in Milwaukie Oregon. Now that our daughter is old enough for movies we love watching them with her at Wunderland. We recently watched Finding Dory there in 3d. I love that for $10 each we can get the 3d movie with a snack and a drink. Most local theaters are just not budget friendly. The staff is always soo nice too. I highly recommend it.

It's a fun enough way to blow through $20 and entertain 3 grandkids in the process. A few fun games and a lot of places to drop a few nickels at a time, with ticket coming out of every machine.

Really fun spot for those of us who are adults but haven't lost our sense of fun. My friends and I had a great time playing all sorts of odd and obscure arcade games, and then of course some classics, not to mention playing air hockey until our shoulders ached.

This place really is a deal for the cost. The only issue is the cost of getting into the building, but www.wunderlandgames.com usually has coupons as well as a newsletter by signing up. Usually they give a buy one get one free or 20-100 free nickels with admission.

There are all types of games at Wunderland although I had trouble locating any type of pinball game, at least at the Milwaukie location. Guns and cars and ticket games ranging from 1-4 nickels. The only games that cost more than 4 nickels are claw machines, with an increasing cost depending on the size of the prize.

I am a little suspicious on how tickets can be counted by weight since they are VERY light, and I'm not entirely sure what the size of a single ticket is since there's no perforations to designate one. Also, the jackpots are considerably smaller here than most arcades, probably to offset the low cost of most of them costing 1 or 2 nickels. The prizes are meager at best, and I figured that 5 tickets is worth about 1 cent, so don't plan to come out on top by winning a prize worth more than it spent to earn the tickets to win it. But at least the games are enjoyable.

While the games are fun, focusing entirely on the games would be a mistake. My wife and I come to Wunderland for the Cinema as much as the game. Tickets are surprisingly cheap, costing around $4 for Iron Man 3 in 3D when I last went. Concessions also cost less at $4 for the largest size popcorn and $2.50 for the largest drink. The screen is slightly smaller and the sound not as full as somewhere like Cinetopia, but for the price it really is a great deal. Also, the movies come out here before any other discount cinema that I know of, so you can see the movies while they're still somewhat new. The 3D works well too.

Overall, a fantastic place to watch a newer movie and play some cheap games afterwards. I avoid ticket games besides skee-ball since the payouts are so low, and take the chance to play the more expensive games that would cost 75 cents to a dollar elsewhere for 3-4 nickels. But be sure to play enough to make up for the admission price. Also, once you leave, you have to pay admission again, unless you purchase the round-trip admission for 25 to 50 cents more. But finding a coupon makes the admission almost negligible compared to the cost of the games, and there is no admission fee for the cinema.

The Wunderland Cinemas show the movies you meant to see but missed -- but shows them for a lot less money. And the refreshments are a whole lot cheaper too. The theaters are oddly shaped, but project (in Portland, but not Milwaukie) is good enough. (I'm a film historian and picky about this.) Cheap enough to take the whole family.

It's something different to do when it's raining and the games are pretty well kept up. The prizes aren't terrific, but the tickets are easy to win and even I (44 year old woman) found the table hockey game fun.
